Definitely and its even easier if you're still young. Your mom can file for you ar just go to a lawyer and they'll let you know your options.

Assuming you're under 18, and if you're mother is still a US citizen might also be able to claim US citizenship. But it might make a difference if you do not have a permanent residence in the U.S., I'm not sure. You need to contact the American Consulate.

If you are a Legal Resident in the US for 5 years the is yes...Another thing I have to make it clear The whole five years you have to be here in the States not outside of States...If your mom is an American citizen yes she can apply for your Legal Residence she have to be living here in te Statesis my best guess I am not really sure about that because she have to prov that she is paying taxes here for the las pastt 3 years...Ofcourse if you are single not marry it will be easier is something about been marry I hear that before....Well, Good luck!!! If you are still a minor, getting American citizenship through your parents is pretty much automatic. You just have to file all the paperwork while you're still a minor.

If your parents were married when you were born, you might have been born a USC. If your father (USC) legitimized you then you might be a USC if legitimated under a certain age and met all residence requirements. But a child of a USC can naturalize much faster than any other class of alien.

i always thought that if your parents are legal citizens then the baby is automatically one too...even if the country it was born in also considers it a citizen of that country...doesnt that make sense..?? or are we the only country that practices giving citizenship to anyone born here..??? good thought provoking question..its always nice to see where america stands on these issues compared to other countries...

No, you'll have to go through the same thing as everyone else does, apply for citizenship, then jump through all the hoops. You'll be welcomed with open arms when it's all done. Best of luck to you.
