NO

Thats stupid and the labour governments fault because of racial equality. They should only be allowed in if they have skills that we NEED and don't claim benefits or 'take' British peoples jobs.

No, put like that it is not racist at all. However it seems in this country that you cannot mention anything that is seen as being politically sensitive without being labelled as racist - so that is where the school was coming from. They are wrong - but it's the wooly liberals and the current government which have allowed this to escalate.

Now most people are scared of even identifying a race for fear of being told it was irrelevant to say the nationality/race of a person!

Well that's a tough one. People like yourself who complain about immigrants fail to realise that a capitalists society relies on a certain number of immigrants each year. Businesses thrive on cheap labour for menial work and this is what immigrants provide. You aren't going to send your son to Mc Donalds for a career!!!! Thus immigrants are generally good for the economy.

People like yourself also often complain about immigrants coming to Britain without giving thought to the numbers of Britains that live abroad and are "immigrants" in other countries!!! The people who complain about immigration never stop to think that there are literally millions of British people living outside Britain. It seems that this is OK because these are British people and we should have a right to live and wrok where we please!!!! And we are generally white.

I'm sure you would be OK with French, Germans, Spanish, Americans and Italians coming to work in Britain, but it is only when these people are from Africa, Asia or Eastern Europe that the immigrant label applies.

No you are NOT Racist. Racism is the only card they can play in a LAME effort to attempt to Justify there Illegal activities. The USA needs Immigrants but, we need immigrants that wanna do thing the Legal way. Most if not all immigrants who come here Legally know English and are more then willing to become US citizens. Those who come here Illegally simply wanna suck the LIFE out of America just like they did there own crappy country.

your poor grandson is being taught at an early age that bringing any racial subject into question is a racist thing. This is basically a government plan to eventaully have us accepting anything without question. Ive heard of people being done for 'insignment of racial hatred' for the most petty things. When will they introduce the 'insignment of racial questioning' law.

You can only keep a lid on things for so long! But rest assured the longer it goes on the worst the problem will become.

No!!!
That's just voicing his opinion.
Schools have gone mad on racism the other day. I got a final warning because my friend didn't know what a skull cap was, and I said 'it's one of those little tiny hat things that some Jewish people wear.'
Just suport him compleatly, he will still get punished but you should explain to him that he was right to say what he thought, however he should have said it more like 'With our population increasing, our economy will suffer and housing problems will arise. Is this because of new countries coming into the EU?'

No being against illegal immigration is not racist their advocates just use that as a smokescreen because they have no argument unless they make up false propaganda out of every group that has migrated into the US those that marched last year must be the absolute dumbest in history no organization no real argument since they arent even supposed to be here they woke up a sleeping giant and now they cant undo what they did

No, you're not a Racist. your problem is with the effect the people are having on our society, and not based upon where they are from, or what religion they are, but purely on the fact that they, as immigrants, do cause problems for our system. anyone who can even think that might be racist really needs to have the political corectness chip removed before they lose all ability to function as a normal human being. :-)

Having an opinion about immigration doesn't make you racist, even if I disagree with you. Part of the problem though is that discussions about immigration tend to get hijacked by people who really are racists, and then that produces a reaction.

No, you are not a racist. You are a concerned citizen.

Economy does not suffer if there are more immigrants. They do some vital yet demeaning jobs that citizens shun. Every economy needs them though we loathe them. We have double standards. They deserve a decent living standard, proper medical facilities and apt remuneration.

Maybe they are not happy to be at their new home, but they are compelled to stay. They have hungry mouths to feed back home. They are just trying to survive like you and me. it could also be that the politicians of their country are looting the nation's wealth left and right and they r forced to work on alien soil.

Who knows --- maybe the labourer you see before you, was a dignified university professor back home. Can you imagine how he feels now?
