Community groups, state representatives and professors allege in the suit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Phoenix that county officials are misusing the statute when they charge illegal immigrants with "conspiring to transport themselves" and violating the constitutional rights to due process and to bar unreasonable search and seizure.

The group also claimed the county's enforcement policy is "a scheme to control international borders."

They blame Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas and Sheriff Joe Arpaio specifically for using the policy "to garner media attention" and "further their political fortunes" by criticizing federal authorities' ability to control immigration. They are the ones out there taking the jobs of those who stay at home and depend on the government. People should focus more helping this country become a better a place and show some respect for those who actually are trying to put food on the table. Yeah its wrong for some one to "jump" over but what about those that are here trying to contribute like going to school and paying out of their own pocket.

We're deeply divided: on one side, those who love America, support our troops and want to stop the Mexican invasion RIGHT NOW.

here in minnesota the illegal immigrants are demanding in state tuition rates for minnesota state colleges under something called the "dream act". how is this fair? if they broke the law why should they get a reward for it? we dont even give those rates to people from bordering states! and i thought they were just doing jobs "americans wont do". which is b.s. by the way. but now they want a college education?? who'll do the work the illegals wont do???! this all seems crazy. do u agree?
