just wanted to see what the public really thinks of illegals. of course this isn't scientific but the media never reports any polls on this. so just say pro or anti and why if u want.

Anti illegal immigration. They are driving up school taxes, over crowding our schools and reducing the quality of education for our kids. They are also a burden to social services because they have anchor babies who are eligible for WIC, Medicaid, food stamps, section 8 housing etc. They get free education and a lot of them steal social security numbers from Americans.

I am for LEGAL immigration. I have no problem whatsoever if people legally enter this country and complete the process of becomming a United States citizen. However, I have a problem with the people that are willfully breaking our laws by comming over here illegally and leaving us the bill. OUr government lets them get on welfare then foots us the bill. We have to pay for their food, shelter, and prison stays when they commit crimes. It is a terrible mess that could be easily fixed. After all, does our country look like a giant trashcan? Mexico needs to take care of the problems in their country and bring the illegals back.

the difficulty with illegals is that one they're unlawful. 2 they don't pay taxes, and yet they are able to get drivers licenses, and scientific scientific care some cases even nutrition stamps and insurance. i've got faith maximum are innocuous, annoying workers who basically want a sturdy existence, yet they'd desire to be legalized and pay taxes even lower back taxes and in the event that they wont legalize they'd desire to be deported. If i became in congress i could pay attention to maximum folk for one difficulty yet i could be for deportation as a results of fact it somewhat is illegitimate. try sneaking into china or someplace like that and notice what occurs to you.

you are asking people to be for something illegal? I'm for legal immigration. And, I feel for the people who are here illegally. Shame on our government for not cracking down on this problem like 30 years ago. This is a tough problem, but ultimately, in a black and white way, the answer is easy--- these people are breaking the law and they must be stopped. Do I feel compassion for people trying to escape a life of poverty... hell yes!
