i recently got married to someone who is already a US Citizen. i do not have a social secirity card (or number)

Last year it spent 7.3 billion dollars just on enforcement. This year it used 10 billion dollars just on an on-line screening program. This list goes on and and on. Billions and billions of dollars spent(wasted, actually) on border security.
Shouldn't this money be spent on education?
Or at least something productive...

I recently started a job where I am the only african american female in the office, but about five other employee that work in the warehouse. About 90% of the staff is hispanic. Because I am new on the job, I have a lot of questions and pretty much need to learn everything from my co-workers. I find it impossible to just hear converations about the job, because they are constantly speaking spanish. I find it difficult because I dont know what they are saying. Its not a concern when its not work related, just when they start asking a question in reference to the job in english then go on and finish in spanish. I feel that it will be helpful in my learning and progressing on the job if they would speak english when it pertains to the job. Is this legal, and how should i approach the director about this matter without seeming like I am discriminating.

My girlfriend is illegal, I would not trade her for all the America women in America. I am learning from her, she is learning from me. All her friends are more than ready to learn english if somebody would help them along the way. I notice latina women are very sought after here in America has anybody else noticed this to? No I'm not illeagl or a Mexican so put that to rest.

I love Mexicans (the ones in mexico or the legals ones) but I despite or hate the Mexican ILLEGALS the most because they are the greatest in NUMBER then any other group in the USA... They wave the Mexican flag and ask for rights that any ILLEGALS dont have and other illegals jump in hoping that USA will give in and they can all get a free ride at the expense of the USA, its citizens and Tax payers. We have laws in the USA and if the illegals cant follow and apply before they come then they wont follow LAWS once they get in illegally and they normally dont. What part of ILLEGAL dont they get or their supporters dont understand. My opinion ...To get in to the USA one should have papers before you get here and no exception. Otherwise the USA doesnt want you here and thats why there are laws, application process, approval and acceptance process....regardless of what you think, want or feel.. get out and stay out.

I mean all economists say free trade raises world productivity, so the only reason to restrict immigration is xenophobia.

Also, don't tell the illegals to come legal because you know they won't get to come legally because the system is set up to restrict immigration.

Also, if economists say free trade in labour raises world productivity, and it's high productivity which raises wages and pays for public services, then you shouldn't say public services can't support immigrants or that immigrants lower wages.

Why do pro illegal say that America needs to grant amnesty to illegal aliens so that they "can step out of the shadows"? . . . “No one is in the shadows! They are openly driving without a license down Main Street to drop their kids off at K-12 schools for an education on our dime. They gather at hiring halls to work off the books. If we let illegal immigrants come in, let them have babys. Let them stay. Do you know that if we do that plus the USA population it keeps growing more. It becomes over populated like China. China now has policy that you can only have 1 child.
