Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't American guards going into America let people into America? Hmmm well now wait a minute...maybe they are the ones that need to be watched more!

Border fence is useless along that border with Canada period its neocons Garbage. No one cared before 911, and the border crossing in Canada and Untied States the border Patrol there are more professional, and actually we need open border on the northern side. Its a ***** to wait an hour to get to the Northwest angle in Minnesota at times. Also, a lot of Northern Minnesota in the winter will kill you of frostbite or worse. Go to North Dakota border check points there maybe 4 to 6 cars cross the small checkpoints a day, and a lot of times its local farmers on both sides buying products to run the farm. A fence on the Canadian border be the biggest waste of money, and we need a fence South of Iowa more than on Canadian Side because we don't need Criminal Low IQ people from the South

stop co-operating with illegal spy activity perpetrated in Canada by the FBI, stop handing over innocent persons like Maher Ahrar so they can be tortured, stop paying extortion fees to the US government for the priveledge of exporting Canadian lumber to the US and find trading partners who respect international lay, and fine them for polluting the great lakes with their toxic bullets. Other than that the USA poses no threat to Canada. they are all talk. Their hands are full with the bungles they already have on their hands. And they already have their fingers about as financially deep in Canada's pockets as they can be. Maybe Canada should nationalize all American owned businesses and see how they like that! Like Iran did with its oil fields 30 years ago. But, that wouldn't benefit Canadians much either.
I wouldn't worry about arming Canadian border workers; it's worked well with them being unarmed for the past 100 years and I don't see why that would change. But maybe it would be fair to start demanding that they have passports to enter Canada. Turn about is fair play.
And maybe we could help people like Carol R learn how to read so she doesn't believe every blatant lie that is fed to her on television. Terrorists crossing the border from Canada? Who makes this stuff up?

I never of the US protect it's boarders to Canada more then they do now. They are our friends that like to take a vacation in the US, and go back home when they feel like it. It's called tourism, and it's good for our economy. Now as far as Mexico, a far different story.

Didn't the actual terrorists involved in 911 cross the Canadian border? Maybe we need to watch that border a little more carefully.

Well they are afraid we're habouring all the terrorist's which we know is not true, therefore they are more vigilant at the border.
Which makes it a hell going shopping to Buffalo. Took all the fun out of it and Wal-Mart has so much better quality stuff.
Oh Carol don't be such a fool-------Song from Neil Sedaka

I honestly don't believe we need to do anything about the border between the two countries. We're both great countries and i don't think any one is jealous of the other country. I don't think either country needs more border security. But however we definatly need more border security by the mexican border. Don't worry about the Canadians! LOL
