Wow, is that distorted. The reasons to control immigration are to know who is here, why they are here, and where they are at. You have doors and windows where you live? You leave them wide open or you lock them? Same thing on our borders. Beyond that our government has the responsibility to protect the interests of our citizens.
Higher productivity does allow for higher wages which can then be taxed and pay for public services. That much is true but you loose the logic connection after that. The higher earning people pay more taxes and pay for a disproportionate portion of the public services - effectively subsidizing those with lower wages. Paying their cumulative 10% of the tax base while adding 30% to the costs is a drag on everything.
The governments of other nation have the responsibility for the interests of their citizenry. Jobs and wages should be grown there. Taxes then would be paid there and public services provided there. While this is a brief and simplistic reply exporting their problems does not help other nations in the end.

no longer jobs that human beings % to take. it is hilariously regularly used that the GOP desires to pass after the illegals, somewhat than the companies that hire them because of the fact they do no longer % to pay a living American salary. I recommend, Mexicans do no longer come right here for the aspects. get rid of the unlawful activity industry, and that they'll stop crossing the border. yet do no longer attempt to argue that human beings are clamoring to %. oranges for cents an hour, however the damned illegals are swiping those comfortable jobs out from under their noses. be conscious that 3 douchebags (so far) have thumbed Frank down for repeating what the transcript incredibly SAYS. in no way permit info get in the way of your irrational bigotry.

No and I am not here illegally I was born here and have had my wages depressed by illegals directly because they won't learn to speak English. All economists don't think free trade raises world productivity, some do some don't. Also why if companies from America went to Mexico, which they did in the 70's, 80's and 90's, don't the Mexicans coming here stay there and raise their own productivity and wages and public services instead of coming here and taking advantage of them here. Why? Because it is easier to take from us than it is to do the work my ancestors ahve done for here for generations than to do ir themselves in their country. And not all economists are right or have what is best for the United States at heart. All countries have immigration restrictions not because of xenophobia but to maintain their sovereignty and their way of life. COMO SE DICE ILLEGAL EN ESPANOL?

Whatever, if where they came from is so terrible that they are willing to risk everything to come to america and work for half the money. We owe them nothing. If you think they should get social security benefits that they don't pay into you are insane.

All I tell illegals to do is get out of this country. They are welcome to re-enter legally. Maybe while they are back in their own country (if they were not too lazy) they could work on improving the conditions there at home.

They chose to come over here and get smaller wages. They need to go back to their homeland and fight to make it a good place to live.

I say they GO BACK TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM.
What part of illegal do you not seem to understand.
If that's the case I can go commit any crime I wish and since we don't care about the laws i should get away with it.
