In Phoenix they were started to keep the illegal off street corners or in front of business. They are covered because of the extremely hot weather we have with tables and water. They are kept clean by volunteers, they were built by donations and the city..Yes to me its a crime because it endorses the illegals being in this country.Would I deny them the right to sit out of our desert sun, hell no.The heat here can kill you and you don't even know you are dying till you are dead.Do I wish it were different yes.I do not support the illegal but I don't want any one to die.

Not really, some of them actually teach the migrants about American legal system and Constitution, and teach them some basic English. Day Labor centers not always useless here they do teach the migrants skills. Some Migrants been in America for 20 years stress the learning of English and What America is about not all evil like Foxnews and bigot Trecedo say it is . I agree they should not hang around home depot looking for work, but a day labor center should be open to American citizens and Migrants because some Americans need to pay a quick 40 dollar bill, and have the workday off wouldn't mind helping a homeowner out in the yard. Illegals are not always supported by companies got wealthy homeowners not wanting to pay professional to do the work for thousands more. Not gonna stop till labor laws are stronger, and starndards are applied to day laborers. Unions are helpful, and protect the worker from expliotation, yet unions ask for wages beyond what the market can bear sometimes. Its balancing act that is needed. Need to prevent expliotation , yet we need freemarket to work like it normally does.

They encourage it by allowing them to loiter on their premises. Day laborers DO drive down work conditions, since the illegals will work in dangerous conditions that most legal citizens know they should not do. Americans know what OSHA standards are. Illegals also drive down wages for construction workers, lawncare workers, etc. which are the types of jobs most of those workers hanging around the Home Depot, etc. are looking for.

The Amish communicate Amish German yet they don't call for bilingual education, they have all their toddlers learn how to talk English (extraordinarily in case their toddlers wanna connect the outsiders), there are human beings in Louisiana and New England that talk French as 1st language yet they don't do bilingual education the two, they have all their toddlers learn English and knowledgeable in English besides. the only ones who're stressful bilingual education are Hispanics, and that i say bilingual education has have been given to bypass, in case you wanna communicate Spanish on your own residence high-quality with me, yet once you wanna generate income in this united states and be knowledgeable in this united states, then you definately could desire to be speaking English. by utilising the way whilst somebody comes into this united states illegally, they could desire to be deported, no count if or not they are ecu or Mexican or maybe if.

No. They offer hardworking people a way to feed their families for a day. "Legal workers" aren't usually lined up to do the kind of jobs that day laborers hired from these sites do.

It is a crime, but they have been getting away with it for so long, they probably don't even know its a crime.
I know some regular people who went to these in between jobs and still had to have 2 forms of ID. So I don't know how they get away with it.

Somewhat. It would be better if they would check photo identification of everyone working there. But they don't really "welcome" it. But like i said it would be better if they'd check ID
