I have, and I have noticed that they are treated like shlt, I have also seen Americans amoung them in the same job position let their own dignity slide, just so they would not get replaced.

Do you honestly feel that if this country don't get a grasp on this problem , the middle class America will become a modern day slave labor pool ?

would sincerely appreciate information from any consular officer concerning this issue I am an american citizen my wife has an approved I -130 pending,, i need to return to the USA A.S.P for back surgery can't travel alone and will need after surgery care.... denied because my wife has not a big bank account,,,, and the consular officer said tha marriage papers were invalid,,,, we were married by local government official at the marriage bureau,had it translated and certified ,i provided medical documentation from the local hospital i was admitted to , doctor strongly advised to have this delicate surgery in USA, they (MDs) have limited knowlwedge concerning spinal cord stimulator that i had implanted 3 yrs ago ,,,,,,,WHAT GIVES CONSULAR OFFICIALS ...what option do i have left my upcoming surgery is scheduled for NOV 21 at the Cleveland clinic???? any way of circumventing thanks ,,,, a very pissed off American trying to do it all legit

Okay my situation is a bit complicated. I am an AuPair here in the USA, my Visa has expired, but I am allowed to stay a second year, I can travel in the USA, but not to mexico, canada. I want to visit London in November for who can you see on my picture. And please stupid answere are not supporting me, such as why do you want to go for him. So I do have a special writting, that I am allowed to stay a second year in the USA. Where can I get information about the rules from visa. Who can give me useful advice...please is really important to me.

Because... We press #1 for English & #2 for Spanish (not any other nationality... Why don't they ask people to press #2 for Japanese or Indian or Jamaican or African, etc... Answer: Because the majority illegal immigrants are Hispanic (mainly Mexican)!!! This is America... We shouldn't have to press any buttons to be heard!

Home Depot has announcements in spanish. There is spanish at the airport. I can deal with that, but get this: I went to make pancakes for the kids this morning and the instructions on the box of Bisquik WERE IN SPANISH!! California is now officially Northern Mexico!! I can't find an English radio station, they don't help me at Costco, and the day laborers flip me off when I don't stop!! I want to move to Vermont!! Thank you George Bush and Vicente Fox!

Here are some of the things Hazleton has had to put up with the last 5 years as thousands of illegals have moved in there:

-- A school playground, on which the mayor played as a child, has been sprayed with gang graffiti and become the scene of multiple shootings and drug busts - all involving illegals. One drug dealer who turned out to be illegal was 14 years old and had four Social Security cards on him when he was arrested.

-- Two murders have occurred in the last year - in a town where there used to be only one murder every 6-7 years - both involving illegals. In one case, four police officers spent 36 hours straight tracking down the killer and arresting him. That is dozens of hours of police overtime.

-- The town's budget for police overtime was exhausted in JUNE this year.

-- In 2000, the town had three ESL teachers with a budget of $500. In 2006, the town has 26 ESL teachers with a budget of $875,000.

-- The violent MS-13 gang has been established in the town and gang graffiti is showing up.

-- Code enforcement officers routinely find 9-10 illegals living in a one-bedroom apartment, with no furniture and mattresses on the floor.

-- The town is now in the red again after Mayor Barletta had cut spending to the bone to balance the town's books. Police overtime is a huge part of the deficit. Hazleton only has 30 officers to police a town of 30,000.

This poor guy had simply had enough. He had old ladies coming up to him on the street telling him they were prisoners in their own homes. He had business owners telling him they were leaving town because they were afraid for their families' safety.

as of next year you need a passport to enter de us via land from mexico and canada. do you also need it to pass de chekpoint areas a few miles from the border towns?

Just wonder why is there such a furry about the illegal immigrant issues here. I see racial comments and insults all over the map. Why can't we just be rational ?

MY opinion is:
- Illegal immigrants are wrong, period! If someone need to come to US, do it legally.

- If there is no demands, there won't be supply. So we must punish the employers of the illegal immigrants. They must be fined heavily. Or even take away their business licenses.

- If America really need dirt cheap labor, then through licenses and contracts to foreign countries. But it must be regulated and constrainted.

- If we find that other countries are not doing their part to help blocking the smuggling of those illegals, then we post tariff on their products or reduce aids to them.

There are ways to solve this but I just hope the questions to be rational. Can we ?

This is clearly "not" a race war. This is a race against time in trying to control the boarders & take charge of an out of control situation. Why is it considered racism when all we want is to be heard by our own government. We want the government to know that they have screwed up & that it is about time they are trying to fix what has been broken long enough. All Americans (White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Indian, etc...) are welcome! All illegal aliens (White, Black, Hispanic, Indian, etc...) must go back to where they came from. Fact: Mexico used 40,000 "non-mexicans" on work visas/programs to work in the southern areas, citing that the "citizens" were lazy etc etc etc.

Fact: Mexico has multiple classes of "mexicans" The so-called "true spanish decent", the spanish/indian mix, and the native indians. All of which are easy to spot, if you are familar with Mexico.

Most of the so-called "illegals" are of spanish/indian mix. A fact they will angrily deny in person...or the forum. But, many Americans spend much time on BOTH sides of the border, and know the differance.

Does any one else find it odd that the majority of Mexicans are catholic, but they use the Aztec beliefs to justify their illegal immigration into the U.S. ?

I just find it odd the Catholic church believes in creationism, and they use the Aztec belief in Aztlan, and claim that the " White devils" stole it from them.
