You need one every ten years. If you are uncertain whether you have had one within that time period take one anyway.

When was the last time you got a tetanus shot?
Adults should get a tetanus shot every 10 years.
If it's been longer than 10 years ago, or you aren't sure...I would rather be safe than sorry and get the shot now!!
How's your leg?

Yes, to be on the safe side. Generally, tetanus shots are good for about 8-10 years but it's probably not a risk you want to take.

Not necessary.
Do NOT get vaccinated.
A vaccinated person is MORE likely to get a disease than a non-vaccinated person. The whole theory of vaccination is flawed. It causes a weakening of the immune system thus making those who are innoculated more susceptible to disease.
There are so many awful side effects to vaccination that it should be considered extremely dangerous.
Just sit back and think for a while.
Is there any sense in injecting a disease directly into your body.
We have been subjected to an awful mind control program to enable the drug manufacturers to make a fortune.

If you go to the vaccination liberation web page, at

You will find all the forms necessary to provide exemption for your child.

if you havn't had one in 7 years, then you may need one. regardless of the chances that this particular nail will give you tetnus, is not the point, you should have the shot .
Since you are in the immigration section, could you please pay for the shot yourself, and not let our hospitals foot the bill?

If you haven't had one in the past 5 years, then yes.
If you have, then just keep an eye on the wound and make sure it doesn't turn deep red with red lines shooting out from it.
