If he got an approval for the fiancee visa, then within 3 weeks and he should get the packet telling him of all the documents he needs to bring. If he doesn't then he needs to contact the consulate about it. He should have ready all originals and copies of what he already submitted including ID documentation, proof of your relationship (pics, letters/e-mails, receipts from hotels, if any), and be prepared to answer questions regarding your relationship. If at the interview you tell an official you met through a mutual friend and he has already told another officer you met online, then there will be problems. As his sponsor you need to bring documentation that shows you will have no financial problems and can support him until he can get a job. So have the income tax returns for the last 3 years ready, a recent letter from your employer stating how much you make and what your job is, and pay stubs if you get them. ALl this you will also need when you submit the application for your green card so always submit copies and keep originals to SHOW (not surrender) at the interview. Good luck.
