I am neutral on the subject, but do lean more towards the pros because theyre stuff has more meaning and truth to it, and they are not just ranting stupidities.

Faint,

If you lean more toward a pro side of an issue you are not neutral on the subject.

If you think something has more meaning and truth to it, you've already made a subjective judgement - meaning: you are not neutral on the subject.

If you think one side is "ranting stupidities" any more than the other side, you are not neutral on the subject.

I think your post is an excellent example of "ranting stupidity" from the pro-illegal side in some pseudo attempt to make anti-illegal immigrant people look stupid. Nicely done!

The illegals are grasping at a straw. The illegals never won a battle to have a right to this country. The illegals are simply trying to take over.
It is not fair. Why were the blacks not allowed to vote for so many years???? The blacks--pardon if I am calling u a bad name- the illegals just smuggle drugs over and go to the emergency center for medical care, go to food stamps and all else they can find for free, then work for the rich for 25 cents an hour.
Do the illegals think they are the only ones who worked for less than minimum wage? White Americans have too,. If illegal -mexicans- want to be in this country---why burn our flag and proclaim their own--why chant the mexican national anthem in our face!!!
Why must americans press number 2 for English in their own country? Never, ever were we taught spanish as a language unless we took it---not the point. English is here to stay!

The pros look at it from a human side, therefore we can have empathy for the unfortunate people who are forced by circumstance to leave their country of origin to live in a hostile foreign to them place, where they do not know the ways and culture. The anti's look at it as whats being taken from them. what they fail to understand is the "illegals" are losing and have lost more than they ever will.

I'm an independent, and I'm an ardent supporter of enforcing the immigration laws as they stand on the books today, and ALSO of the US/Mexico border fence. Stop rewarding negligence/incompetence, find out where YOUR state representatives stand on sand-bagging law enforcement...this is a biggie, choose carefully...or start taking spanish classes...

Support the US Border Patrol!

Personally, I enjoy seeing the word BIGOT and RACIST plastered on any post I make within Yahoo, that contains the word Mexican and illegal within it.

I try to keep my answers and post narrow and focused, because I actually enjoy the company of Hispanics I know, stateside, and in Mexico. I don't always agree with them, but it hasn't stressed our friendships, nor have we settled any of the "illegal" problems with our conversations.

Unlike you, I can not remain neutral, I ask very pointed and sometimes inflammatory questions. I can however, see both sides and try to search for additional answers, that contain more words than the afore mentioned bigot and racist.

I think all the 'thumbs down' this question received (as well as a lot of the answers) tells the truth.

There are reasons we have anti-illegal immigration laws!
