Many people I talk to or have overheard seem unsatisfied with both leading political parties in the United States.

It seems to me that most Americans have never heard of the Libertarian party but unknowingly agree with most of their beliefs.

It is okay to "say" I will end this terrible war in Iraq that should not have even entered save the scare tactics our present president used as excuses to start a war. Now that we have ruined Iraq, we now have to stick around and pay for the damages we have inflicted, whether it be by Iraqi or USA damages. How do we convince the rest of the world that we are not really greedy like the present administration? How do we pull out without loss of more USA and Iraqi lives?

The war on poverty has been going on now for over forty years. The US Government has spent trillions of dollars on social programs over the course of this war and we still have poor people. Wouldn't it be a good idea to admit defeat in the war on poverty and devert these funds to our troops?

What do you think of this idea?

Every year, when you are paying your taxes, there would be a sheet with a list of all government departments/programs. Every department and program would have a check box next to it. Taxpayers could check off the programs and departments they wished to fund, and choose what percentages of their taxes go to those programs.

For example, a war supporter could choose to give 70% of his taxes to the military, and 30% to transportation. Another citizen might choose to give 0% to the military, and 100% to environmental protection. This way, government spending would truly reflect the will of the taxpayers.

Under this plan, you'd still have to pay taxes, but you'd get to directly choose how they were spent. What do you think of this idea? Do you think it would be good, or is this "too much" democracy?

Ok, if you are walking down the street and find a magic lamp and after rubbing it, a genie comes out of it and tells you that he is going to grant you ONLY and ONLY one wish. Think hard!

He tells you that he will wipe out of your country ONLY one of those and you can only pick one, remember, think which one will hurt your next generation in the long run, destroy the world or economy or any other reasons.

Please answer honestly and dont be hateful when it comes to answer about either illegal aliens or people that are in drugs/rehab, or people with aids/hiv infecting others.
