in general does the indian government have hte interests of your region in mind?

I am an American married to a **** (close enough ,lol) and I can tell you that they DO NOT.

There is far too much ignorance in this world and there are NO key representatives to help.

From what I understand, the government of India is partitioned with representatives BUT has a large amount of corruption... to be more precise to your question, I've been told by some friends from different regions in India that, while yes they have a representative, the interest of the poorer regions are rarely held to any importance.
