I wanted to know that if we are in a major battle when it comes time for the next President to take office in 2 years will G.Bush
remain in office until things are resolved. Or will it be up to our
next President to clean up his mess.

Europe gets a lot of bad press in USA and visa versa.. so its kinda hard for citizens to make opinions that aren't biased..

My view is that Europe is the rightful cradle of civilisation on Earth.. most major inventions and human developments stemmed from Europe.. as did most global citizens.. lets face it even USA came from Europe in the beggining.. it was discovered by Europeans and built using European ingenuity..

Sure.. USA won the war.. and left Europe a dump.. while it got ahead.. but it seems times have changed.. Europe has rebuilt and USA is facing mass recession..

So who holds the keys to the future of this planet.. is it USA with all its wars and its insistance that a military solution is the right solution.. or Europe who has rattified Kyoto years ago.. has made real impacts on global warming and who has not started a war since WW2.. they've all been UK and USA since WW2.. ohh.. and Israel..

so who do u trust with the future .. Europe or Israel/US

A good part of the world passionately hates our nation. Our name is in the dirt. Are you still proud of your country? Will we see better days, will our country ever return to a repectable nation like it used to be?

I remember jumping up and down years ago about global warming.. and all we ever got from our top leaders in UK, USA and Australia.. was that it wasn't a real issue..

NOW FINALLY.. an acknowledgment.. for the first time and despite we still havnt ratified the Kyoto protocal..

My view is one of anger.. anger that the people in society are being totally ignored.. EVERYONE knows about global warming!! YET our Governments have until this week.. ignored it even existed..

Does this fact represent a total failure of Government and all but prove that anarchy is a better way to go..

The Governments set us on societies path.. so one cannot blame individuals who use greenhouse gases.. plus most greenhouses gas is produced by business.. not individuals..

Is it time perhaps that we abandon the pursuit of wealth.. and start fixing the environment?? Start helping the poor and healing the sick??

Or are we all going to try outdo each other forever??

STUPID HUMANS!!!

It seems that we've been struggling with not only race tentions but unfair treatment to nonblacks since affirmative action was established in the 80's or 90's. I'm starting to wonder if we should be comparing affirmative action to the disaster in Iraq. Unfair promotions to blacks, free tuition, welfare, and social security have really put a dent in my paycheck. It's not cheap supporting all of this. Our country seems to have created this and then dumped it in the laps of the taxpayers. Maybe we should be more selective to what food stamps can be used for. I'm in line buying hamburger and my affirmative friends are ahead of me buying delmonico steaks as well as lobster and shrimps by the pound. With wic vouchers covering the dairy, and food stamps covering $200 in high end red meats, my stomach wouldn't stop growling. How do I sign up for affirmative handouts?

If everybody hates Bush so much and nobody agrees with what he says and he is such a joke, Why haven't we impeached him?

This country was built on people like ourselves standing up for what we believe in, and fighting for what we thought was right. What happened to us? Why are we so beaten down that we take everything the government dishes out? They have grown too big and too powerful. Soon we will have no rights at all. Isn't the government in place to keep order? NOT to run our lives?

The system thrives on three classes: rich, middle, and poor. If everyone was either upper middle class, or rich, there'd be nobody to do those terrible gritty tasks that are required for us to live life as we do. It's a terrible thought but why else would we have a dean's system in our high schools that works against the productivity of the learning experience; Instead of working with and understanding students proves to isolate and remove them. Thus highly improving their chances of becoming doomed to a life of poverty, penny pinching, or otherwise failure.

Turn back the clock to what Social Security was intended. Use the surplus funds to draw interest rather than letting the Government grab it for General Purposes.
