What do Democrats generally believe in?

I know its a vague question, but what are their fundamental beliefs?

Depends on the Democrat. It is a very diverse party. Not all subscribe to the party platform. But a good start is to go to the Democratic National Committee website for some general guidance.

Also wikipedia wil give you a fair if incomplete idea of the movement of thought generally in the party.

democrats generally believe that abortion is a right to choose to take an innocent life while in the womb. weak defense, bigger government intruding in your daily life, decisions being made for you without your consent, higher taxes to support the bigger government,they also dont think you should be held accountable for your actions unless you are a democrat then that rule gets thrown out if you are a republican..you must be held accountable.. bill clinton can commit perjury and be patted on the back but if one of us does it we will go to jail.. thats just the start of it..watch fox news to hear the real stories in the news and you will see the whole picture of the liberal biased news

Democrats are made up mostly of blacks who prefer to take sides against the white majority. They believe in affirmative action and free handouts. Democrats are very skiddish and cannot run this country properly. Take a good look at these folks. They are a bunch of freaks.

that's it. i believe all of us deserve a shot, none of us are particularly evil, and that life is generally good and could be better. that's where all my political beliefs come from. i try to pick the candidate who best reflects those, and usually they're a democrat.
