The system thrives on three classes: rich, middle, and poor. If everyone was either upper middle class, or rich, there'd be nobody to do those terrible gritty tasks that are required for us to live life as we do. It's a terrible thought but why else would we have a dean's system in our high schools that works against the productivity of the learning experience; Instead of working with and understanding students proves to isolate and remove them. Thus highly improving their chances of becoming doomed to a life of poverty, penny pinching, or otherwise failure.

The only one holding themselves back from being middle or upper class is the person them selves. Can't force a person to learn and be self motivated. Quit blaming everyone else for an individuals failure. Heck, read some of these letter and tell me how they studied the basics of writing. It is sad.

The government would definitely want everyone to be upper class, because thats more taxation and money for the government at no expense to them. I had no money for college, and I qualified for financial aid and grants from the government that paid half of my education expenses to obtain my BA in Construction Management. Everyone has the opportunity, they just need to do it.

Ability is education based.
