A while back I had heard $300,000/ Yr.. But I believe the severance is the same!

Truth be told, compared to what we will pay sports PLAYERS to PLAY, for what is expected of the Executive, he does not get payed squat!!!

There really aught to be a bonus involved if they put a San Franciscan Lib in the Speaker's position!

A couple years ago it was $130,000 a year. Very minimal when you consider the hours put in. I am sure it has risen some, I know the congress just put through a 10% raise for all elected officials. (The military by the way got a 2% raise) I would search it. But I can't see it much more than $200,000 a year. He has a lot of assets elsewhere though.

Around a couple of hundred thousand.
Here's what's funny: Clinton was never a real president. He used the job just to get chicks.
He has lived off the taxpayers his whole life.
NEVER HELD A REAL JOB EVEN FOR A DAY!
And will still be living off the taxpayers until the day he dies.
And then Hillary will still be living off us.
Cool!

The President's income was $200,000 until George W. Bush. It is now $400,000 plus a $50,000 that is in the form of a non taxable account for expenses.

I think his personal salary is about $400,000 per year. Not much for a president! But he gets to write many expenses off, I'm sure.

$400,000 dollars a year.

It's not 250k, it used to be 200k, but the salary was increased at the beginning of Bush's first term. Bush didn't have anything to do with that, by the way.

Too much. Have you noticed, it's the people in Government Office that live the good life? Oh yeah, I forgot, they have done us a big favor by raising minimum wage. What a joke. They know what they are doing. Now prices will be higher, raising the taxes higher, more will be taken out of your paychecks for taxes as well and the people in Government Office will get richer.
