Why isn't Yahoo putting up stories about the Cheney-Specter Bill? This is about a free pass to write over the Fourth Amendment and if we can blow other mindless drivel out of proportion on our news channels then this griveous misuse of government power should be on display as well.

So if electoral votes are the ones that count
and popular votes dont! (thats normal people like you and me votes)
Why do they still say we should vote?
In 2000, George W. Bush won 271 electoral votes to Al Gore's 266, with 50,456,062 popular votes for Bush and 50,996,582 votes for Gore.
Not that I'm a big Gore fan but we normal people didnt elect Bush!
isnt it time to tell the truth here and just be honest and say we dont care what the people want. we stick to our good old boys club?

This is a very informative documentary. Though it is long, I am sure it will change your perspective about 9/11.

This week, Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary, stood outside Westminster Cathedral in central London to call for the execution of the Pope as punishment for 'insulting Islam'. He fulminated against Pope Benedict XVl, adding: "Whoever insults the message of Mohammed is going to be subject to capital punishment."

Before he is "acquitted" by reason of insanity - remember - he went to univerisity in England and trained by the English as a lawyer.

Despite his hatred of all things British - he says: "If British means adopting British values, then I don't think we can adopt British values. I'm a Muslim living in Britain. I have a British passport, but that's a travel document to me" - he and his family live on state benefits.

Rubana is said by friends to claim £1,700 a month in housing benefit and income support while Choudary has also claimed £202 a month in income support.

Chirac calls for threat of Iran sanctions to be lifted

The concession to Iran seems to be linked to events in Lebanon, where there had been concern that French soldiers may be targeted by Iran's proxy militia, Hizbollah, over France's previously hardline stance in the nuclear negotiations.

That we now have this permanent 9/11 wave-the-flag, thump the bible, give the fascist war-cry day six weeks before every election cycle?

Free war-rally day for the fascists to kick off every election cycle. How convenient.

The message? Oh -- same as always. Stay the Course, We will win, We will never retreat, There is still money to be borrowed and given to the military industry. The tax-payers won't notice for some time still. They don't really want their Social Security or Health-care in the future.

On this planet, there's two opinions: those who thinks the medias of the world and the US government told the truth about 9/11 and those who don't.Then the ones considerate the other sas "paranoid" or "conspiracy theorician" and the other considerate the firsts as "naives" or "media worshippers".One thing is certain, we still don't know cause each time there is any proof for any opinion raising in any media, the opposite camp deny it...most of the time with another proof who'll be denied afterwards.
So being an european i wonder: what's the statistics for USA in that matter? is there a lot of american people who think that their president is able to provide such a lie? in the rest of the world i would estimate the proportion of 50-50% for each point of view.

Every day I see more writing on the wall that could well lead to a WWIII eventually. "The West" vs. Islam. This has gone beyond the United States vs Terrorism. Today Islamic fundamentalism leaders are lashing out against the Pope and Christianity, saying that they will not give up until Islam rules the world. Pathetic. It seems to be consistently escalating. Does anyone see the *possible* beginning of another World War here, and what in the world can be done to stop this madness.
