Well, I don't believe most Christians believe that the antichrist will come form the UN, it might be argued that many Christians believe that the antichrist will come from the European Union.

From my personal studies it seems to suggest that the antichrist is more likely to come from the Middle East, with certainly a possibility of Syria or Turkey.

However, regardless of where and when the antichrist emerges, that is simply no reason to hate any region of the world. We need to love and attempt to help everyone in the world, otherwise we can hardly claim the name of Christ.

You know my friend, I see some allege Christians answering your question and some are right about the hate part. Many Christians are unhappy with the UN because look when Hezbollah attacked Israel, the UN was quick to condone and even Blame Israel for the Attacks. Look at the Guantanamo case the world was quick to judge US, but hey look at every time a fellow soldier gets killed where is the outrage from the UN. Look at the Pope when he made the comments against Mohamed. Look at the Dan-fur region. As Christians we are not supposed to hate but there's so much do do going on against Christians. The world is getting scarier as time goes by. Unlike many muslims, we should focus on what God and His son Jesus Christ taught us. The antichrist can come from anywhere.

I am a Born-Again-Christian and I have never heard of that before. If I were you I would try and find out by prayer and reading your Bible. The Bible warns us of the anti-Christ and to prepared spiritually because he will decieve many people to thinking the Bible is false.

Also, Jesus Christ and the second coming is what we have to worry about, Jesus himself said He Will Come Like A Theif In The Night. In other words when you least expect it. People are afraid to turn their lives over to Christ because they follow false gods, that could mean anything they are obsessed with.

I believe in the word of God and God's Holy Spirit within me has given me the answers to many things i didn't understand. As for the United Nations, they were supposed to be founded on the fact that they would not let anything happen like WW11 ever again. I don't think the antichrist will emerge from there, unless they are talking about President Bush.

If you want the answers to Biblical questions, you have to belong to Christ and He will reveal everything to you. I am interested on how you came across your source.....?

A lot of Christian fundamentalists are into conspiracy theories. Christians have been waiting for the return of Christ since the beginning of Christianity. They have always looked at major events as possible indicators of the coming of the End Times, so this is nothing new.

I'm a Christian and I haven't heard this one! I have, however heard the theory that He will come out of Europe and that the European Union is going to bring about the destruction of mankind. I just don't like it because it is probably the most corrupt organisation in the world - you only have to look at the Budget farce to see that! The bible says he will come out of the East.

I think they are deluded. I also think the UN is a waste of time as it is full of self-interest groups who care more about getting their snouts in the trough or furthering their own petty political agendas than they do about the citizens of the world.

Was the UN mention in Revelations? Christians would like to think the creator of the universe walked the earth in human form (ie Jesus) so they'll believe anything I suppose.

The Antichrist is supposed to come out of Europe, but that won't come until after Armageddon. Don't get ahead of yourselves.
