I don't have a problem with people who honestly need the help. thats not the issue. the issue is a neighbor who brags about how she does it, claims 5 kids-only one in the home. she tells office her fiance is her landlord etc. multiply her by millions of other who defraud and thats the problem. if there is nothing wrong with you get off your *** and work like the rest of us. if you can stand outside and bullshit all day and talk about how you do it. you can get a job! I have the right to call and report her. thats money out of your pocket and mine. would you cash your check and come home and give someone you didnt know half of it? just because they told you they needed help. and then when you see them they are at the bar? paying with your money? please. we need more people to report fraud.

i think you are great for taking a stand for people taking thing that does not belong to them. Does these people work? Do they file taxes if so they have to report food stamp es on the income taxes, call the I.R.S.then the social sercuity office, welfare office someone will listen, because they are breaking the law. And again good for you thanks from all of us that pay taxes.

**Not to mention the fact that these kinds of people are like Cockroaches and they have relatives and "family" and extended family that if they ever found out it was you (which is never really too hard considering even an idiot and a theif can perform simple deductive reasoning,) then when they do find out and chances are (since YOU TOO are here on a public forum telling everyone what you are doing.)

They probably will return the favor and start either reporting you for everything from lawn, sprinkler violations to cars in the driveway to anything they can find. and if they are real as*sholes, they could get violent or make things up.

I have a rule in life... If it isn't worth the expenditure and the damage it could cause in my own life... I don't bother getting involved. You have no idea what kind of people these are. they have nothing but time on their hands obviously to figure out who turned them in and then take their revenge. Is it worth the possibility of your property or your person being threatened?

Especially if you are a close neighbor, I don't suggest opening your mouth. You chose your drama in your life. Let uncle sam take care of his own baggage and you look out for you and yours! There are too many degenerate morons in this world to start taking them all on. It isin't your place. Worry about you and yours!

most govt offices like this are swamped and although this is an important issue and you feel they are doing nothing it doesnt mean that they are not.....they have to investigate this matter thouroughly.....and they cannot just on every report of fraud investigate each case....there are instances where people will report others because they are mad at them or just dont like them.....in my opinion if you called more than once to report this it sounds as though you are being a busy body with nothing better to do than harrass your neighbor....the food stamp office may see it this way too....if i were you i'd let it lie...you placed your complaint now let them do their jobs

It may seem like they may not have done anything yet. Give them time to investigate. They will investigate for a very long time to make sure they have good evidence against the fraudulent person. Then they will nail their a**es to the wall.

cs1112...

You did a good thing. Don't pay attention to these folks who are giving you a hard time for reporting the fraud. It tells alot about their character or the lack there of. Anyways, they aren't worth concerning yourself with.

The people who abuse the system are thieves. There is no other word for them.

The Attorney General for the state you are in would be very interested in what you have to say. As would the County Prosecutor.

Try your local city building. These things take time. Be patient.

File fraud at your local police station....just like you have when someone uses your credit....then the d.a. will investigate it...
