It's not like voting for them makes us responsible for going to war, invading countries, making the worldwide prison network, and accusing other countries of being world menaces.

It's like everything that man tells them, all the manipulation and fear tactics, they eat it up.... When are you ever going to draw the line?? illegal search warrants, illegal wiretapping, pointless iraq war, use of torture......stop the madness already.
Oh I know other people like that, the terrorists that follow Bin Laden... and don't tell me that you don't blow up buildings for Bush, if he told you it's for the "war on terror" , you would!

I'm not speaking against or for Bush, and although you may find what I have to say biased, that's ok, I have to ask this. Try not to end up insulting me or Bush or anything like that... just opinions on this matter as a country and people together.

A lot of people nowadays in the US tend to be nationalistic. Or patriotic. Is that bad or good? Is there a line between Nationalism, patriotism, and so called "blind patriotism"?

Is Patriotism healthy or unhealthy for America/Countries in general?

I know for some being woken up quickly and suddenly makes you grumpy. However, in this case I have to take that risk. You need to watch this movie now http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-3719132275557884702&q=Aaron+Russo+-+America%3A+Freedom+To+Fascism+FULL
Can you do it? Are you brave enough to watch this movie and change your life?
PS- sometimes Yahoo blocks links so in the "additional information" section I will repost the link.

Instead of devising a thoughtful, intelligent plan to defeat al-Qaeda, did Bush,Dick, n Condi take the easy way out and beat up some punk who just happened to be sitting on trillions of dollars of oil?

"Hey Dick, let's call this oil grab our "War on Terror" and accuse anyone who questions it a traitor." "Ha ha George, you're not a complete and total moron after all."

So far I've come up with:
They are not voted in, therefore they do not have to stand for a popular idea that might have been brought about by propaganda, but which actually has no really merit.
