BUT, I would like to see the job of President split into two jobs:
1) a Foreign Minister/ National Security Post
2) a Domestic Affairs / Budgetting Post
And good GOD will you liberal whiners stop with the King-George complaints. "Absolute Power" oh PLEASE... why don't you go LIVE in the ex-Soviet Union, or old Iraq, or... modern Iran... where absolute power is exercised.

No, and it never will have. The United States was founded on the basis that we would Presidents and the Constitution says it will always be that way.

No, we cannot have a democracy with absolute power. Just like the warrant less wire taping on U.S. citizens. It is absolute power to go around a courts. It has nothing to do with "I am not doing anything wrong". We have a rising number of Americans that are willing to change our ways for sense of safety for fear of terrorist. Why should we give up anything for F.... terrorist. "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself"

Yes, it has worked well in a lot of European countries...as long as he has no real power. You could use a Bush or a Kennedy since they are both "American Royalty" when it comes to politics.
