I have been debating this question for years. It's when you have too much power that you let your guard down and are susceptible to failure. Right now America is viewed as a global power, I feel our leader has taken advantage of that and only time will tell if America's arrogance prevails.

I would think when your Islam devils stop acting on us we will stop reacting to it. You stop trying to kill me an I will stop trying to kill you. Simple huh?
You said for every action there is a reaction. .This is a very true statement.. I agree when we are attacked we must make the reaction to that attack. Islam will not stop and we can't stop either. If it takes an invasion to stop the attacks that is what it takes.
And who cares if the rest of the world turns on the USA or not. We really do need to stop this world police thing and let the rest of the world defend them self's.
Don't come crying to the USA when you are bent over and Islam is converting you by the sword.

yes there is a reaction, and i wonder if American Arrogance will be enough to help them when the world turns on them......when the UK, Europe, Asia, Oz, NZ etc decide they've all had enough yanky world policing......i wonder how 300 million against 5.7 billion will go?

America thinks that? Do you mean everyone in the country or the government? I'm American and I don't think that. The government might but I don't like my government either. I suppose that I'm here not because of the politics, but because of hte living conditions. *shrug*.

Who said we did think that? Don't you think one reason we're fighting is to keep invasions from happening on our soil? If we didn't think that anyone but us was entitled to invasions, we would feel no need to have homeland security either. Cleary you are misinterpreting something somewhere.
