I believe he is a good man, but he did not get the easiest presidential term to deal with. How do you think Clinton would've acted if there was a terrorist act on America during his presidency? I think that the war was necessary. If someone bombs your country, bomb them back, let them know you will not tolerate that. If you don't, they will probably do it again. Also, many people are saying that we should end the war now, and have the troops come back home, but if we left now, we would leave the people over there very vulnerable and open to attacks from other countries. What do you think?? Let me know....

I was just doing a little internet reading on senate.gov and clicked on the map of of the chamber (http://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/art/special/Desks/chambermap.cfm). My first reaction was to wonder why Democrats and Republicans are seated on different halves of the chamber? I guess I assumed that the seating would be fairly random. I wonder what effect this physical division of congress has on party divisions, if any.

So, does anyone know why the seating assignment divides the parties?

trying to make its citizens pay their own evacuation fees? This is not a question on whether or not they should have to, but rather where the law that is being waived came from. Personally, if people were willing to ignore warnings to visit Lebanon, they should be responsible for their own actions. Since May 2, 2006, the State Department has warned all U.S. citizens not to go to Lebanon, but where in the world did this promissory note rule originate?

Like we are republicans or democrats....

Shouldn't we be worried about taking over the world(hypothetically)

And I think we shouldn't have a President...We should have like a group of 5 people who run our country in a Democratic way. So we would vote for the person we want out of like 10 and then the top 5 are our "council". Pretty weird i know...but i was bored and tired of people like "Oh Bush sucks...and then people are like clinton sucks"....everyone doesnt like everyone..just be glad we dont have some Nazi killing us. No offense to the Nazi people..well kinda...but not really.

Really guys ...lots of us true conservatives that can add and read, you know those of us that believe in god and democracy in the same breath but still have a rational bone in our bodies. We're not happy with the guy we voted for either. I'm a registered Republican and I'd rather eat broken glass then have another turn with these people...are all of your lives that wonderful?

From such comments as "Executive privledge" during the Enron debacle to outright lying while in office, I have watched Our government turn from a governing body, doing the citizens bidding, to becoming an out of control, power hungry, profit oriented bunch of crooks. And the people let them do it. This will not change ubtil the citizens of the United States demand answers, and accountability from the government, and demand that those who seek to obtain, or hold office simply to rip off the U.S. public are brought to justice, without loopholes for them to squirm through. There must be an end to this behavior! On top of that, the U.S. is the country with the most WMD's in the world, and I would never want to see the U.S. as the Emporer of the world, calling policy for all who live here, no matter which couintry you live in.

i love this country dont get me wrong. but they say this is the best country but when people try to voice their opinon we get thrown in jail. if this is a free country why isnt gay marrige aloud. why is the word GOD stated in the pledge of allignece(i cant spell). dont get me wrong i believe in god 100 percent and im not gay but in the first amendment it says free of culture, belief, actions so on but not everyone believes in god. this country they force children to say the pledge every morning. we are forced as young kids to belive that gay people are wrong, but if this is a free country why cant we live it like it really is suppose to be. FREE. i can go on for hours but im tired of typing...tell me wat u think!
