Do not be mislead by US, It's not all about weapon.
It's about the energy of the future.

But most people in the world may not realised it, modest estimate that the oil supply for the whole world can last another 100 years, and 50 years from now, it may cost you exponentially higher.

While controlling nuclear power, you would control the world.
It is like controlling water supply in the desert.

And US is stockpiling oil imported from Middle East and driving price up, while modestly tapping its own resource in Texas and Alsaka.

Just imagine, what if now our oil supply is OUT!?
What are the alternative energy supply for every household?
If you are not generating nuclear power, what can you do?

No one would be stupid enough to use nuclear weapon.
It can be used as a threat, but really using it, I doubt so.

Terrorist will not want to wage war against peace loving citizens of the world. They will have no sympathiser if they were to use it.

It's called 'Nuclear Weapon Deteration'. Only a handfull of countries in the world possess these weapons, most of which can be reasonable said to be in safe hands. Countries like the US, France, Briton, etc would never use neclear weapons unless in self defence towards a significantly more powerful foe. The reason why uncle sam is interested in nukes is not because he wants to hog em' all for himself. NO, it's to prevent rogue nations from attaining them. These rogoe nations won't risk coming head-to-head with the US because they know that wouldn't be too hard for the US to ward them off. Instead they would then sell the nukes to terrorist organiztions to use against the use. Plausable deniability is the name of the game, because if the US can't prove that these rogue nations did 'push the button' to the nuke then theres nothing uncle sam can do but take the beating. And the organizations of terror will continue to pound us till we're just an entry in an encyclopedia under "extinct races".

Sorry, yet guns are not precisely like nuclear guns. Enriching uranium isn't precisely an straightforward aspect to do. base line is that nuclear guns contained in the palms of rogue countries like North Korea, Pakistan, Iran, and Syria couldn't probable be a sturdy theory for international stability. in case you imagine this may even up the playing field, then i'd might want to invite you lower back how this helps? we are human beings! considering the fact that at the same time as can we prefer to "enable" different countries to have nukes, which could finally make issues extra sturdy for us?

Maybe it is because we have so much to lose. Or, maybe we worry about nuclear arms because with built the first operational bombs and we are the only one that really knows what it means to drop a nuclear bomb on a city.
The world takes us at our word in the sense that we are always bragging about our great country and its freedoms and strengths. Maybe we are the only Nation that has the standing to solve a problem like the Middle East. Who else could do it?

America is not the only country speaking against nuclear proliferation. In fact, the United States is one of the most heavily nuclear armed nations in the world. We also fund nuclear weapon programs in countries such as India and Israel. It is only when a country that we do not agree with seeks nuclear weapons that we speak against it (Iran and North Korea for example). Other nations (especially European nations excluding France and Britain who have their own programs) usually speak out against nuclear arms more than we do.
Perhaps you should listen to what people are saying beofre you state who said what.
I personally think that the United States should disarm at least most of our nuclear arsenal as an example. W can't expect other countries to disarm when we will not do so ourselves.

The U.S.A. has been considered as the leader of all nations because of its wealth and power. If all becomes a nuclear power
nations, then U.S.A will lost its leadership and control particularly over countries they have vested interest. It is quite normal for a nation like U.S.A. to always adopt the defencive or offensive stance to protect itself. Americans never will ever want to play the role of being slaves again. Being powerful and dominant at all time is the reason why U.S.A is what it is today.

It's... not.

If you're referencing North Korea, then I'll tell you that Australia, South Korea, and Japan all also took immediate action to the tests.

Besides those, there were other countries offering different kinds of support, such as Russia, Canada, the United Kingdom (most of the European Union, actually), Israel, and even Egypt to a small extent.

What on earth makes you think America is the only country worried about it? Just because other countries seem less agressive, doesn't mean they are wrong. Consider, also, that you are relying on the American media's interpretation of these matters. How much stock do you really put in that?

Because we have the strongest military, the smartest people and we have used them, we know the horror nuclear weapons can create and we don't want to see it happen again, We used them for the right reason, to save lives, believe it or not, if you don't then you need to study your history. That's why we worry about it. And we could care less if we look negative to all the other chickenshit countries. We want peace in the world. For us and you. God Bless the Marines and Ronald Reagan. America is only country worried about nuclear arms because we're the only country who people would shoot at. No one else makes people as mad as the United States because no one else's president is as arrogant or stupid.

Really...who would fire a nuclear missile at Canada?
