Only he has it completely wrong. We're playing the part of the Soviets and the Iraqis are the Hungarians.

Hungary at first welcomed the Soviets as liberators from the Nazis (Baathists?).
But the insurgency quickly started when it was immediately clear the Soviets were there to stay.

That is why Murtha, Feingold, Kerry and others insist we MUST make it clear we're not there to stay permanently by setting clear, unequivical deadlines for departure.

Otherwise, they will be sure to think we're there for the oil. Couldn't be that, not the oil, could it war supporters?

Israel only got the "occupied" territories after the 6-day war. Before that, the Palestinians could have started their own country in that area.

The Defeaticrats' "New Direction for America" foresees a future for this country as a kind of Lesser France. That would be problematic enough: The dependency culture favored by the Dems has mired much of Europe in permanent double-digit unemployment, a moribund economy and unsustainable social programs. Presumably, Nancy Pelosi and Co. would respond by saying that their pledge to "give America a raise" -- i.e., increase the minimum wage -- shows that their party is in tune with real people's real needs rather than a lot of foreign adventuring that's got nothing to do with how real people really lead their really real lives. Sorry, it doesn't work like that. Not even the Democrats can redeploy from the whole planet

And why are they chipping away at the conerstone of this wonderful country? Why in the heck can't normal educated people see this? It is just a crying shame.

I want to see how many others agree or disagree with me. America can send all this money to help other countries feed thier people, while our own people have the hardest time getting any help from our own contry. There are people here that are living in shacks and can barely feed thier children, yet they work there butts off to make ends meet and it saddens me to see all the money being spent on countries that breed like rats. What do you think?

i am wondering how many people actually think they could do a better job the bush, i personally feel that everyone beats on him but they don't really understand how hard it would be to run a country full of arrogant self-centered people plus dealing with countries that are trying to take over this "free" country and take all of our freedom away.

My grandfather just passed away. On his will my father and his sister were named co-executors. It is worded like this:
I "my grandfathers name" hereby appoint "my aunt" and "my dad" as co executors of my will.
The executor shall.....etc.

Well my aunt is saying that my father is not considered an executor because her name is listed first. Even though it clearly states that he is a co-executor. She is claiming that because the second line says "executor" and not executor's' that because her name is listed first, that she is true executor. And will not allow my father in the house without her there and so on. Just being a real witch about it.

Any thoughts or advice?
