If you believe in your party, in what it stands for, in what it is trying to achieve, whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, then why do so many feel you need to lie, to distort the facts, to deflect the real issues, in order to get your point across?

Any politician who feels he or she has to distort the truth, to manipulate facts, to falsely accuse his or her opponent, to get elected doesn't deserve to be elected to anything in this country.

If you can't win purely on the strength of your platform your whole agenda is a sham. Be a real man (or real woman) for once in your life. Be honest!

It's simply immoral and we deserve better than this.

To have the islands become a Canadian province, or at least a territory with the idea of possibly becoming a province in the future. - CBC News

Someone posted an interesting link onto this Yahoo Site regarding the 911 Conspiracry's documentary. I personally took the doucmentary as very good debatable material that raised some interesting questions. Has any of the CNN's or Fox News channels looked into these topics? ANOTHER REASON for the huge paydays for CEOs is that corporations today are paying just a fraction of the taxes that they once did... 60% in the years 1996 - 2000 paid no taxes at all.

How about you? Pay taxes?

I think it is because Morales clearly represents a thorn in the side of U.S. imperialism because he stands up for Bolivians in the ways we can only dream of our politicans standing up for us.

I am trying to get a petition together to get rid of the electoral college and I would like to know if there are others like me. It is truly outdated and only the vote of each american should be the deciding factor regarding presidency.

Some peoples reasoning for why we shouldn't have women in power or in the military is because of their period. Ok ladies answer me this, would you be metally, physically and emotionally stable to perform demanding duties as a leader or as a soldier during your period? Would you need special treatment or time to devote to your hygene during your period, if you are in combat? During combat would you need to move to a secluded area to do what you have to do, even though there is a high threat of danger?

Our taxes increase each year, and for those of us who haven't moved but whose property values keep increasing, this is a BIG problem. It feels unfair that we should be penalized for having made a good housing choice years ago. What is the norm outside of Texas?
