Here are some facts to help you:

1. A lie is when you say something you KNOW is not true. Bush has, to this day, never been proven to have lied while in office.

2. The military never classified him as AWOL. He was discharged within the rules by his superiors.

3. Most of the people who hate Bush also seem very tolerant of people with drug and alcohol additions, except when they list it as a negative against Bush. Hypocritical?

4. Bush has exposed more of his personal and in-office records than any President in history - while in office. The few things he has not released have been on ground of legal separation of the branches of government - something that is critical to the survival of our democracy.

5. The nation is not bankrupt. As a percent of GDP, our debt and deficit is far below levels from 1941 to 1945 as well as below levels of the mid-late 1980's.

6. We had surplus funds before we went to "war". The current military effort has been approved repeatedly by congress. They, not Bush have the funding power for this effort. War is expensive... so comparing to Clinton surplus in a time of peace has nothing to do with Bush per se.

7. Supports defending our nation and its citizens, not just "WMD".

8. I don't know who Bush's best friend is - but if he cheated someone, then he should go to jail. And who cares - I have had friends that did bad things and so have you... but that does not mean YOU did the bad thing that your friend did.

9. The VP did not attempt to kill anyone... and you know this -- so this is you lying - correct? You're the liar now.

10. Throughout history Dems and Reps have had rich, powerful people on their cabinents. Bush is the first to have a black woman as sec. state, a black man as sec. state, a latino as attorney general, etc.... many firsts in diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds - more than any Dem prez.

11. We live in a capitalist economy. The prez cannot lower gas prices! Hello - wake up! It's supply and demand - and releasing the petroleum reserves will do nothing but lower the prices a few cents for a few days - and then people will just consume more.

So what is your REAL problem with Bush?
Maybe you don't like the fact that he pushed through bills to:

- Spend more on social programs than Clinton (for example, Medicare, which despite the tactical/computer glitches, funds hundreds of billions in new entitlements for poor people and the elderly)

- Double the Federal education budget

- Tripled funding for the National Institue of Health

- Doubled the amount of higher education grants given directly to states, so THEY, not the Feds, can decide who is best qualified to get loans and grants for college.

- Pushed hundreds of millions to support alternate fuel research programs, despite reps and dems trying to kill it in favor of their pet oil projects.

... and the list goes on and on...

Are you speaking about Saddam? At first I thought you were discussing his sick, sadistic sons; Uday and Qusay....but they were hunted down and killed by US forces like the animals they were back in 2003. Hey, do you think the new Iraqi government will declare July 22nd a new national holiday?

Here are some facts to help you:

1. A lie is when you say something you KNOW is not true. Bush has, to this day, never been proven to have lied while in office.
-----------
Actually, literally dozens of times bush has been caught lying, including the intentional fabrication of false intelligence over
iraqs wmd.
-----------

2. The military never classified him as AWOL. He was discharged within the rules by his superiors.
-------------
Actually, whether or not he was classed as awol
is irrelevant, he was in fact awol and if he were not one of the super elites, he would have landed in prison.
------------

3. Most of the people who hate Bush also seem very tolerant of people with drug and alcohol additions, except when they list it as a negative against Bush. Hypocritical?
-------------
Sorry, a cocaine lobotomized moron shouldn't be president.
------------

4. Bush has exposed more of his personal and in-office records than any President in history - while in office.
-------------
A total reversal of fact, bush has in fact created more secrecy than any other administration, has sealed all records of his own
trip as governer of texas as state secrets, is the most secretive president ever.
----------

The few things he has not released have been on ground of legal separation of the branches of government - something that is critical to the survival of our democracy.
----------------
No, most of the things he has made secret are clearly things
related to his criminal activities.
-------------

5. The nation is not bankrupt. As a percent of GDP, our debt and deficit is far below levels from 1941 to 1945 as well as below levels of the mid-late 1980's.
--------------
No, our nation is exporting all its labor, and tax breaks to the rich
have in fact bankrupted our economy, only the fact that other nations keep lending us money is what keeps the ecomony floating.
-------------------

6. We had surplus funds before we went to "war". The current military effort has been approved repeatedly by congress.
----------------
Actually, legally, no "war" as such was ever approved.
we have a "police action."
------------

They, not Bush have the funding power for this effort. War is expensive... so comparing to Clinton surplus in a time of peace has nothing to do with Bush per se.

7. Supports defending our nation and its citizens, not just "WMD".

8. I don't know who Bush's best friend is - but if he cheated someone, then he should go to jail. And who cares - I have had friends that did bad things and so have you... but that does not mean YOU did the bad thing that your friend did.

9. The VP did not attempt to kill anyone... and you know this -- so this is you lying - correct? You're the liar now.
----------------
okay, fair enough, it was an accident, but it at least shows that
the vp is grossly incompetent.
-------------

10. Throughout history Dems and Reps have had rich, powerful people on their cabinents. Bush is the first to have a black woman as sec. state, a black man as sec. state, a latino as attorney general, etc.... many firsts in diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds - more than any Dem prez.
------------------
okay, true.
----------------

11. We live in a capitalist economy. The prez cannot lower gas prices!
--------------
also true.
--------------

Hello - wake up! It's supply and demand - and releasing the petroleum reserves will do nothing but lower the prices a few cents for a few days - and then people will just consume more.

So what is your REAL problem with Bush?
-------------
He is an evil lying warmongering fascist doublethinking
theocrat who is quoted as saying he would like to be a dictator.
------------

Maybe you don't like the fact that he pushed through bills to:

- Spend more on social programs than Clinton (for example,
--------------
false, a total lie, actually bush cut almost all social programs,
including ones attached to his pet projects, like the no child left behind act.
--------------

Medicare, which despite the tactical/computer glitches, funds hundreds of billions in new entitlements for poor people and the elderly)
---------------
again, you aren't paying attention or you are lying. This whole medicare "privatization" game is to get people to pay for everything themselves and spend less government money on
it.
-------------

- Double the Federal education budget
---------------
please provide a single factual reference.
Bush cut the education budget.
---------------

- Tripled funding for the National Institue of Health
--------------
dear gods...where do you get this drivel?
--------------
Pushed hundreds of millions to support alternate fuel research programs, despite reps and dems trying to kill it in favor of their pet oil projects.
---------------
tokenism. Any real effort would be in billions, not hundreds of millions.
----------------

... and the list goes on and on...
---------------
yes, it does, and so does the propaganda and footsoldier ignorance and lies.

I still find it funny how Saddam's head advisor who wrote a book on Saddam, says "Of course we had WMD's! We shipped them to Syria as soon as the investigations started. Why would we keep them?"

I would have to add "...when unable to capture terrorist invaders, invades an uninvolved country (shortly before his re-election campaign) to increase his ratings in the polls, and uses religion to do the same..."

Other than that...you said it!! BRAVO!!
