I think it is because Morales clearly represents a thorn in the side of U.S. imperialism because he stands up for Bolivians in the ways we can only dream of our politicans standing up for us.

Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Otto Reich said of Morales, "We do not believe we could have normal relations with someone who espouses these kind of policies."

U.S. Ambassador Manuel Rocha went so far as to issue a public statement urging Bolivians not to vote for Morales during the election--and threatened to cut off international aid if they did. "The Bolivian electorate must consider the consequences of choosing leaders somehow connected with drug trafficking and terrorism," Rocha said. Rocha’s threat backfired and Morales was elected.

This is what the US calls "diplomacy" meaning threats towards the democratically elected president of Bolivia, like it or not, coca or not, he was fairly elected by the people.

So believe it fool, theres some facts for you...

I don't believe you have any proof that the US is threatening Bolivia. In fact, Bolivia last week (if I recall correctly) entered into a trade agreement with the US despite criticism from Morales's allies in Venezuela and Cuba, which suggests that Bolivia is not feeling particularly threatened by the US.

To learn the contrast, you might want to review history books for cases where nations actually threatened one another. If that's too much for you, try looking in a dictionary under "threaten". You'll note that simply being bigger is not part of the definition. I guess you'll have to try to prove whatever point you're trying to make by some other means.
