If you believe in your party, in what it stands for, in what it is trying to achieve, whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, then why do so many feel you need to lie, to distort the facts, to deflect the real issues, in order to get your point across?

Any politician who feels he or she has to distort the truth, to manipulate facts, to falsely accuse his or her opponent, to get elected doesn't deserve to be elected to anything in this country.

If you can't win purely on the strength of your platform your whole agenda is a sham. Be a real man (or real woman) for once in your life. Be honest!

It's simply immoral and we deserve better than this.

If they told the truth they would not represent either platform. They would say that they will be the puppet for whichever lobbiest lines their pocket. They would have to say that their eye is not on the sparrow or the future, but on furthering their own wealth and the wealth of their lineage.

If they told the truth they would have to admit that they have no intention of taking responsibility for the action of the cronies they put in cabinet positions, that if there is something they got caught doing, they fully intend to cover it up.

If they told the truth they would tell you that their objective is to make $200,000 for life, what a retirement plan. Where does honesty fit in? If they told the truth, we wouldn't elect them. So they try to flim flam us with their morals and charisma. Once they take office, their true agenda is constantly being hidden from us. Not that elections matter anymore.

I agree. It seems to be whomever isn't in power throws mud and spins truths. Both parties are to blame. All the while stalling government to gain power lengthens time of war, therefore more brave soldiers die. We were never stronger then on Sept. 12, 2001. We were united as ONE people no matter what. The parties are dividing instead of uniting us. UNITED WE STAND Divided We Fall.

Politicians at the highest level aren't human beings like me and you. They are very high dollar money operated robots. Honest is not something they are programmed to be.

Honesty and politicians/lawyers is a oxymoron. There is no such animal. I hope you don't vote.
