Run for office, attract the attention of a few big corporations so they throw some money your way, put ads on TV that say nothing about you, but make your opponent look like a monster, and after you are elected, take your orders from the big corporations that funded you, and forget about the people that voted for you. Do nothing for your constituents, but make sure you convince them that at the very least you are the "lesser of two evils." Get very rich, accept millions from more and more corporations, do their bidding, and retire a very wealthy person.
