Unless the city charter or state constitution prohibits it; the legal age would be that of being registered to vote. The typical requirement for a locally elected official is being registered to vote.

if i'm correct i think its 18 to run for mayor.i think there's an 18y/o mayor somewhere in Mich.,but check with your city to see what age you have to be to run for mayor.good luck
