I don't think Hillary (the dem frontrunner) really stand much of a chance of being the president realistically. The majority of America hates her with a passion, only 27% of America classifies as "liberal" according to the election exit polls on cnn.com, "polls" are usually full of BS as they claimed Kerry would win by a landslide in 2004 (look what really happened) and I don't think the majority of Americans identify at all with someone that far left.

The 2006 elections wasn't a victory for liberals, but for the moderates and people unhappy with how president Bush has led our war, the large majority of seats taken by the democrats were from conservative dems who would gladly show anyone with a wacky liberal agenda to the door. They weere pro-gun, pro-life ect.

With all that said: I personally with all honesty do not see Hillary being elected president of this country.

I saw a few new features and some people make the most absurd arguments as to why they would and would not vote for some candidates. That stupidity is what led us to the disaster of the current administration who has led us to the brink of World War Three.

I just read in the paper the other day that there is a law that he can stay in office until there is an end to this Iraq war. If this happens I'll just give up on voting!

I have always wondered if a third party candidate won the popular vote of any particular state, would they be able to receive the electoral votes for that state? And if not, is the electoral votes just reserved for a Democrat or Republican candidate?

The fact that so many corrupt republicans (especially corrupt Giuliani and his cocehead campaign manager) dislike Ron Paul, means he is the one to vote for!!!

I am libertarian (former Republican)

Do all you conservative stubborn Republicans still support Bush. With his approval ratings down to 26%, lower than Jimmy Carter ever got, making him the least popular president since Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal. With 19 more months left in office, it is likely that Bush will continue to drop, perhaps under 20% if we are lucky.

With these ratings, it looks unlikely that Americans will be tempted to elect another Republican candidate in 2008, as the Bush administration is completely trashing their party. Do you Republicans still think Bush is doing a fine job running the country?

Bush wanted elections but Hamas won. Now Bush is upset and says "The people didn't vote the way I wanted". ( Note: The elections back in 2005...remember? Bush pushed for free elections) He got his wish. What's the problem?

Let's get the facts straight on Mormonism: There are only 3 churches in America with more members (Roman Catholic, Southern Baptist, and United Methodist). If we question whether a Mormon should be president, we never allow a Lutheran, Presbyterian, Assembly of God, or Episcopalian to be president, since those churches are all smaller, right? Mormons believe in Jesus Christ, the Bible, being faithful to ONE spouse (no, they don't practice polygamy), charity, honesty, obeying the law, not swearing, not using addictive substances (alcohol, tobacco, coffee, etc), and are generally some of the most wholesome members of society. Mormons have served as upstanding governors, senators, and cabinet members for nearly 200 years. I think Romney being a mormon is a reason TO vote for him, not to vote AGAINST him. The fact that he adheres to a religion with such high standards is very commendable! Ask almost anyone what religion (if any) the other presidential candidates belong to and no one knows.

Democracts wanted the war in Iraqm they all voted for it- so why do they constantly blame Bush when things go wrong? The Democrats are the ones that dragged American into war, NOT the Rupublicans....

It makes people believe that Republicans are very radical.
I don't see questions from Democrats about Republicans.
I thought Republicans are supose to be christians but they are the most violent and vicious of the two. Don't get me wrong I don't approve of either one and I am neither. But do you guys see this is true? That is a Christian majority that is so vicious?

I've personnally never had a $400.00 haircut like Mr Edwards..I resent him thinking he speaks for me. I am solid Middle class who pays $11.00 for a haircut and tips $5.00 on top of that. Mr. Edwards certainly doesn't speak for me and if I was poor, (I have been poor befor) would NOT want him speaking for me either.

What specifically does he have in mind besides broad statements, such as restating that their are 2 Americas every time he talks. Getting rid of the Bush tax cuts will simply increase taxes across the board. So what is his plan? He's some trial lawyer so we have to be carful with his slick words.
