The current bill will legalize 20 million or more illegal aliens - rewarding them for coming into the US illegally. In addition, they will be able to bring their family here - another 7 or more per illegal. That would be 140 million or more and currently our population is only about 300 million. What is the Senate thinking?

Thus far I've been fairly uninvolved/disinterested in politics. Next year, however, will be the first time I will be able to vote in a presidential election, as I will be turning 18 this year, and I have become very interested in the election. Obviously my decision will be a personal choice in the end, but what, from your experience, would you suggest I be looking at during the coming years? (Certain websites, certain media reporters with valuable perspectives...) What are the top 10 or more political issues (immigration laws, death penalty, etc.) that usually determine which candidate you select?

What are everybody's thoughts regarding Rudy's past abuses of the right to bear arms and his current stance on gun control? (Obviously I am anti gun control but also an Independent). If you don't mind, please indicate if you are Rep/Cons, Dem/Lib, or Ind/other.

Do they think there are people who don't know what it is? Do they think it's offensive or shameful, even though every male in the world (except figure skaters) has one?

So I'm scrolling and reading couple of answers to a question I answered. And in small print in top it reads - the voting came to tie - the voting time has been extended. (Or something like that) So I'm wondering, how many people actually go back and read answers on questions and vote on the best one there is?

The man brought his girlfriend home to Gracie Mansion and had loud sex in the bedroom next to his daughters. He is a repeated and unrepentant adulterer.

Are we to infer that the outrage about Clinton and the blue dress was mere partisan politics, and that our entire political system was derailed for years so Republicans could score points? Are any of the Republicans out there just a little ashamed of their leaders?

The personal income tax only generates enough revenue to pay the interest on the debt. If we had sound economic policies (not one based on foreign borrowing), we wouldn't even need to collect the personal income tax.

Think of the huge interest payments you make on credit cards if you carry a balance. Which is better? To pay it off and not do that any more? Or to continue paying... and paying... and paying... more and more, until you're bankrupt?

For what!?

By the way, Ron Paul is the only candidate proposing this change to the system.

It's the right thing to do...

How many of you have grown so comfortable wearing these economic chains that you will protest against freedom?

All the media talks about him. He appears in the polls. Over 92,000 web surfers have asked for him to run (http://www.draftgore.com).

With all of this unsolicited support, what do you think are the chances Al Gore will listen to the people and decide to run for president in 2008?

Every time I watch a balanced, argumentative news show(ex: Hannity & Colmes) the liberals go haywire when there is a discussion about Giuliani. They always say how he can't win because he's too liberal, and how he wouldn't be a good president. Do they treat all liberal republicans like this or is Giuliani different?

I'm wondering with the all speculation - is Al Gore going to run or are people just speculating? He is losing weight apparently, and he isn't telling people looking to draft him to stop, and it seems the field doesn't have a clear front runner on either side - in some ways he's the default front runner without even running. What do you think?
