Elections - June 2007

[Selected]: All categories Politics & Government Elections

I am interested in doing so, but I have not found any information on how to do it. Supposedly a person receives a $200,000 grant to fund their election campaign. Does any know if that is true?

Only three times in Americas history has the Electoral College differentiated from American popular vote. Most notably, Bush vs Gore in 2000, where MORE AMERICANS VOTED FOR GORE, but more of the 538 faithless electoral college had a different idea.

How about if they tell one group (like the NAACP) one thing, while telling another group (UAW) something completely different?

Or are they just doing and saying anything they can to get a few more votes?

This senator is running for President and has never served in an elected office in her home state. She could not be elected in her home state, that alone should say something.

No matter what happens, the Good Old USA will endure, we survived Presidents Carter and Nixon, that proves we can survive no matter who is elected.

Have you taken the time to visit his web site and actually read his position statements? (http://ronpaul2008.com)

If you have - do you fully support Ron Paul? Or oppose the Constitution?

Many Republicans think that Mr. Thompson would be a good candidate to be President. Why? What are his positions on issues confronting the country? If you think he would be a good President, why do you think so?

Some very religious people including priests and Catholic religious vote for pro-abortion politicians..

Many do not consider abortion to be a moral compass issue.. How many people have asked their Priests and Reverends what they think on this issue and if each votes for pro-abortion politicians and why.. Some vote for pro-abortion politicians because the same pro-abortion politicians vow to help the poor, improve education or some other social issue. As a result because of this voting booth reality, abortion might be permanent, here to stay.. What do you think? I struggle with this..

You always here about polls in the news that say this percent of the country feels this way or that about a subject. I'm 35 years old and have never been polled on anything. It sort of makes me not trust the polls that I hear about. What do you think? Have you been polled by an orginization about any sort of national subject?

John McCain has sold out to Bush after Bush mopped the floor with him in the past dabates. He will be worse than Bush with ending the war. John McCain is Pro-Amnesty and actually designed the Amnesty Bill with John Kyle. And I am sure 5 years in a hole as a Vietnamese prisoner of war had some kind of impact on his mental stability.

Rudolph Gulliani has been proven to be an adulterer and he also lied to our Nation and New York about the toxic air and toxic levels at the World Trade Center. Firefighters and rescue workers are still dying today as a result. This issue will be brought up by Ron Paul at the debates and Gulliani will be exposed for what he really is, wrong for America.

Ron Paul is for ending the war. Ron Paul is for securing the borders. Ron Paul is all about restoring America's rights and our Constitution. He feels the Constitution is more than just a piece of paper. He is old school and he is just what America needs. He follows the great footsteps of Barry Goldwater
