Will you vote for McCain or Giuliani.
Vote for the Dem candidate.
Stay home or vote for a third party candidate.
Neither one is really conservative and both of them are strongly pro illegal aliens. What will you do?

I know that women vote based on looks. Not a generalization...I never said all women. But that is a true sentence. Just as an example, look at what a pathetically trivial thing a vote can be based on. Others include voting how your parents vote, or how much you hate "towel heads", or how your church wants you to vote (I attest, I watched an entire church full of Mormons be told who to vote for in a presidential election), and the ridiculous list goes on. So, yes, it is fair to each individual to GET a single vote, but is it even responsible to continue that practice? Are we being fair to eachother to enforce the will of the irresponsible majority? People are generally not even informed about the issues a president makes decisions on. And unless there is a pre-screening to make sure the candidates are all CAPABLE of the job, I think we may be letting Toonces drive the whole country...

My vote goe to Ralph Nader, for ensuring that George W, Bush would win the White House, thereby casting the US into the dark ages and causing tremendous loss of human life worldwide. Thanks, Ralph. Hope you can live with yourself.

If they vote for the immigration bill as it is written , how many of you will vote against the elected officals that voted for it .

I'm a Republican - but even though I think all the Democrat runners are pitiful, the Republicans aren't much better. There are one or two underdogs that will never get near the top that I like - but for the most part, I don't know who I'm going to even lean towards voting for!!!

I don't know about what the rest of you think, but I think it's going to be a crappy time in America - whoever gets put in office.

Such cheap labor will only drive down wages for all U.S. citizens. Isn't that contrary to all the Democratic Party represents?

France knew who won its presidential elections immediately after close of polling. How was this possible?

Let's see, John McCain was the only Republican yesterday to vote against the admendment to the Immigration Bill that would exclude FELONS from getting U.S. citizenship. He drafted the McCann-Feingold Bill for election reform (yea, that's really working). And last year he was part of a bi-partisan group of senators who tried to control who President Bush nominated to the Supreme Court.

I don't think he has a chance in Hades now of being even nominated for President, but does anyone think he can even get re-elected as senator again?

We move election day to the first weekend in November. Giving people 48 hours to vote.

We reform the Electoral College so that the winner of each Congressional District gets 1 electoral vote. The winner of the state gets the final 2 from the state.

Lastly, if you do not vote in a Fedral election, you cannot write off anything on your taxes until the next election (there will be a few exeptions but not for the healthy and able bodied). No mortgage interest write off, no child writie off, nothing. If in a married couple, and only one votes, thenonly half can be written off.

Just brainstorming....

With many electronic machines, there is no paper record, and a real recount literally can't take place.
Your thoughts?

Doesn't it seem to you that all these bloggers and positive votes for Ron Paul on every unscientific internet poll is just dems trying to get both nominations to be anti-Iraq War? Do you get the sense that these people will turn on Paul and vote dem in the general election if he secures the Republican nomination with their help?

Do any of these people really support Ron Paul's views on views like reduction of taxes or stopping entitlement programs? Isn't it funny how you hardly ever see details after these questions about Paul's other views?

I almost feel bad for the guy. All this support and it's just disingenuous...

I don't think that there are enough Mormons for them to get their guy in the White House. No, I don't think that Romney has a chance but his view on the issues is not disagreeable.

Like most Americans I wouldn't vote for a Mormon in the White House on principle but I see nothing wrong with him serving his country as a senator. But what do you think? Would Mitt Romney have to change his religion to win the election? If he converted to say, the Baptist church he would have a much better chance at the presidency.

Pretend you stood to win a MILLION DOLLARS on election night if you guessed correctly. (Regardless of who you WANT to win). Who would you pick?

The MSM is shoving Obama, Hillary, Guiliani, McCain, and Romney so far down our throats that I can't even stand to hear about them anymore.

Do you think that others will get this way, too?

I sure hope so...I can't stand any of them.

For instance, we as a country elected Al Gore president. But the Electoral College elected Dubya. I was okay but dissapointed that he won but I was okay with Bush until the War in Iraq. Imagine what the world would be like with Gore as president..

But back to the topic. Under this legislation:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact

the country would shift to an entirely populat vote system.
Do you support this? Do you think it will pass by '08 elections?

a woman?

I mean, i'm all for a woman getting a step up but the feminists that only want to vote for a woman in power scare me. Do they take so little regard for our country that they will risk putting a socialist power hungry b**** in office that suggested at a debate that the average person is not educated enough to know what they should do with their own money and that should be the government's job?
