Let's see, John McCain was the only Republican yesterday to vote against the admendment to the Immigration Bill that would exclude FELONS from getting U.S. citizenship. He drafted the McCann-Feingold Bill for election reform (yea, that's really working). And last year he was part of a bi-partisan group of senators who tried to control who President Bush nominated to the Supreme Court.

I don't think he has a chance in Hades now of being even nominated for President, but does anyone think he can even get re-elected as senator again?

I think you're going to see a lot of politicians losing their re-election bids this time. Mostly Republicans, but probably some Democrats too. People are pretty fed up with Washington right now.

I figure Chuck Hagel and Lindsay Graham are going down for sure on this immigration thing, too.

I voted for Obama for presidency, but I certainly hope that Arizona re-elects John Mccain as Senator. He has worked hard as a Senator for the state, and the country.

As a resident and voter in Arizona, we still respect our war veterans in this state and Senator McCain has done a fine job representing our wishes in Washington and even though I wil lbe voting Democratic in the Presidential election if McCain is nominated, he would make a much better leader than the current idiot residing in the Oval Office.

I think the Arizona heat has fried the brains of the voters there. I can't think of any other explanation for his continued reelection to the Senate. He has always like to play the maverick in the Republican party but I feel he is a "Republican In Name Only." I don't believe he will get the nomination to be the Republican Presidential candidate, God, I hope not at least.

You see, Democrats love him. John McCain will never get voted out in Az. He gets almost all of the votes. There seems to be many Democrats running as Republicans. Republicans for some reason will vote for a Democrat that calls himself a Republican instead of a Democrat that calls himself a Democrat. We have one in Florida, Martinez. I will vote Democrat for the first time in my life when he comes up for reelection, just to get rid of him.

I think he can. People seem to re-elect the in crowd, almost regardless of their politics and activities. Two recent exceptions are Senator Tom Daschel and Senator Rick Santorm. They were not re-elected.
