Maybe because it was the F.B.I. and not Bush that had anything to do with it.
B.T.W., there were plenty of democrats in office last weekend!

That is the FBI's job. Why should the President be congratulated? Besides - there has always been weird people plotting to overthrow something or other. I believe that they are letting these things go on until they need the press. Then they do something. They were watching this for months. They also watched the guys that were going to attack Fort Dix for months until they needed some favorable press. It is not a big thing that they did their job. Can I get headlines since I closed the company books on time?

I'm a Bush supporter, but to be fair he doesn't get credit for that any more than Clinton gets credit for preventing the attack on LAX in 2000. Both attempts were stumbled across.

Because I saw the report that shows everytime there is a negative report on Bush or the Republicans then with two days on average we get a terrorist warning. I have doubts especially how much this administration lies.
We have lost too many freedoms as individuals for terrorist situations that we never are threatened with. Remember 9-11 was reported so many times to Bush and the FBI but he and his people did not listening. NOW they LISTEN hard to conversations that have no threat whatsoever and they all are FALSE.

Apparently the liberals have talked themselves into such a sick hatred of President Bush and Vice President Cheney that these men aren't given credit for anything they do.

Bush does not deserve the credit for foiling the terrorist plot on JFK airport. The local police do. And the airport security personnel.

Well, I haven't been paying attention to anything Bush does, seeing how he's just plain - WHAT???!!!!
He actually listened to warnings this time? Ok, I guess I should like a Bush a little more, but I still don't like the things he has done before

No...but if he had missed it, he would surly get the blame...If he had wrestled them down himself, he would not get any kudos from the wacky left....but let someone spits on a sidewalk in Siberia and BUSH IS TO BLAME!!

i agree with you 100%. People can say all the bad things they want about Bush but he has been able to foil 2 attempted terroists attacks. That attack on JFK would have been a disater and thanks to Bush it didn't happen.

he doesn't deserve any credit.
by making the department of homeland security, all he did was re-organize existing Federal agencies into a new grouping. they would have found these guys anyway. it would have been better for bush had they actually went thru with it. cause then he could shred the Constitution even more.
