Great question! It's probaby because 10% of Mexico's entire population is in the US illegally, so it's considered the biggest problem, although it may not be. Even so, illegal aliens send so much money back to Mexico that, in some states in Mexico, it is the number one economic resource. That is a drain on the US economy.
INTERESTING POINT: Do a Yahoo! search and see if you can find how Mexico treats illegal immigrants that come across its southern border from Central America. (HINT: Makes US immigration policy look like the Salvation Army.)
However, your point begs this question:
Since our country is engaged in a war on terror and we know, or should know, that there are terrorists in our country illegally (see Congressional Report, "A Line in the Sand," *), if Congress grants blanket legalization or amnesty to all illegal aliens at this time, isn't that treason?
If not, why not?

So far, no member of Congress (House or Senate) or the Justice Department or US Attorney will touch it. Ask them!
As of this writing, those who do venture an answer (citizens, talk show hosts, and one retired immigration officer) all say "Yes!"

They are included in the current immigration bill. It is just that the overwhelming majority are Mexican. The fact that schools and hospitals are becoming more overwhelmed by Mexicans to the point of having to close is what the hooplah is all about.

We concentrate on who break more laws. Maybe the other races they are more careful of getting into trouble and Mexican they acted like they are not afraid of getting caught when they are illegal they just do whatever they want drinking, stealing, fighting, drugs, etc.

Two quick reasons:
One: they are close to us and make up the biggest part of illegals,
Two: they die by the hundreds and even thousands trying to cross the desert. In Tucson, Arizona, the floor of the desert reaches 200 degrees, a bit cooler than El Camina del Diablo.

For the same reason we went to Iraq. They are both easy targets that have little support outside their own countries.

Because they seem to be the only ones thinking that they are entitled to whatever the USA can give them. I hope this immigration bill does not go through and they are all deported!

The debate is not about nationalities, it's about enforcement of the law! Don't let the media pursuade you otherwise.
WHY CAN"T THE GOV'T ENFORCE THE CURRENT LAWS???????????
