Yep, I'm 100% behind Ron Paul. I think he's the man for the times.
Its a very difficult time, but I think he has the right mix of skills to get us through this time.
1. It will take a Republican to disentangle us from the Iraq War respectably, and he will do that.
2. It will take someone with a keen understanding of economics and inflation to untangle the economic mess George Bush has created. Dr. Paul has outstanding knowledge of economics.
3. He'll dismantle the more onerous of the Patriot Act restrictions and return the U.S. to its heritage as a free nation.
4. He'll cut taxes and spending and move us back toward a free-market economy.

Paul advocates a limited role for the federal government, low taxes, free markets, a non-interventionist foreign policy, and a return to monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency. He has earned the nickname "Dr. No" because he is a medical doctor who votes against the bills he believes violate the Constitution.

being the only sane and honest republican running, he won't stand a chance in the primaries.
the republican base is certifiably insane at this point.
there is no way that candidates will be able to appeal to insane people and then try to convince the american people that they are more qualified than the dems, who all look pretty sane to me.
republicans need to hope that chuck hagel runs, but then again if he does, he too will need to appeal to the insaniacs in the republican base...

He is the guru of the disaffected and patterns his speeches based on his audience.
His little band of internet freaks are the only ones that are impressed.
He isn't a viable candidate, Repubican or otherwise and will soon disappear from the national scene.
