So, when you vomit that "Bush is the Messiah" crap, you only have 2.6 out of 10 people cheering you along.

Good point, booman. Government isn't very popular lately. Neither the NEO-Cons nor the DemoRATs garner much support, do they?

I smile when people AUTOMATICALLY assume anyone who disagrees with the punks at 1600 Pennsylvania, is a Democrat. It just SCREAMS simple-mindedness, on the part of the assumer.

Well, based off of the recent polls saying that Congress has an even lower rating than the president, that just goes to show me that not many people are happy with our government at all. I don't care what party they represent.

IMHO the reason the federal government (republicans and democrats in all branches) are so unpopular is that they are no longer in a position to represent a majority of the American people (let alone all of them). Thanks to all the free market economy, supply side, trickle down, no new taxes BS, so much money has accumulated in so few hands that a handful of multibillionares are calling the shots, and surprise, their decisions make their lives better and everyone elses worse.

Well I guess it will be Bloomberg for an independent President..incomprehensible...well he took NYC...but while all the infighting goes on within the American public of whether you should vote Democrat or Republican, Americans will continue to be conned by both forms of government...you need a viable third party soon if you are ever going to be released from the shackles of the lobbyist controlled governments.

Congressional approval is worse

Because

people voted for the Democrats to end the war

Which side of the aisle are the votes to keep up the killing coming from?
