Democracts wanted the war in Iraqm they all voted for it- so why do they constantly blame Bush when things go wrong? The Democrats are the ones that dragged American into war, NOT the Rupublicans....

World War I = Woodrow Wilson (democrat!)
World War II = Roosevelt (democrat)
Korean War = Truman (democrat)
Vietnam = Kennedy / Johnson (democrat)
Bosnia = Clinton (democrat)
Somalia = Clinton (democrat)
Haiti = Clinton (democrat)

Lincoln was a Republican. The Dem.s wanted the union disolved and to continue slavery. WW I, President Wilson managed to keep America out of it for how many years? WW II, the republicans had to be dragged into to it kicking and screaming -- Roosevelt's embargo against Japan played heavily into the decision to attack Pearl Harbor. (Not saying I disagree but) his "Lend/Lease Act deal with the Brit.s sure went a long way to drawing us in against the Germans... Korea was a U.N. job... How about Kennedy with Vietnam --escalated by Johnson? It took Nixon to get us out of it...
Generally, it has more often than not been the democrats who got us into war. But then, the "New" liberal generation is too young to know this and has refused to study history. Tell me, do you suppose that if Newt had done Madeline's job, as Nancy has tried to do Condi's, maybe we could have avoided 9/11 all together? Should Nancy have been arrested for impersonating the Sec. of State?
Does this answer your question?.
WMD- In 2002, CIA director George Tenet (a Clinton appointee) was asked by Mr. Bush point blank about Saddam's WMD. Mr. Tenet replied that it was a "slam-dunk". Now, if you are the President, and the director of the CIA tells you WMD exist and you do not act on it, what in God's name would happen to your credibility when Iraq levels Chicago with a nuclear weapon? Sorry, but if anyone is the blame for this invasion, blame Bill Clinton, so if Clinton knew, so did Hillary, so.. she is also the blame for 911. Bush could not have under any circumstances, without these votes done this by himself, they were all involved and now want to pretend like they did not vote for it, and now wanting to un-do their votes, and pass laws to un-do votes. lead by HRC.

What has anti-war activists upset is that despite her criticism of President Bush's handling of the conflict, NY Senator voted to give him the authority to go to war in the first place and has refused ever since to back calls for an immediate troop withdrawal.

There was only one Democrat that voted against the war in the Senate and the only person to vote against the war. The vote was 99 to 1 in a Republican majority Senate.
It was not the Senate that started issuing the rhetoric towards a war like footing against Iraq. That was G.W. Bush that started all that end-all dialogue and the one to blame.
I am a Republican with a long accurate memory, his words did not add up with me and they still do not. He still answers the question with no answers or refuses to talk about it truthfully.

Are you trying to say that the Republicans voted against going to war in Iraq and only the Democrats voted for it? You're funny. The dems voted for it because they were presented with false information by the President at that time. When they were presented with the real facts, they wanted to pull out just as many other intelligent people would do once presented with a new set of facts.

Hello dimbo! Not all the democrats voted for the war, as all the Republicans did! Bush spent two years lying to the American people and congress that Suddam was attempting to launch nuclear and biological weapons of mass destruction as the United States. Bush is a lying piece of **** and because he has a single digit IQ, we are all going to suffer for his stupid mistakes. I do not believe that 4,000 Americans should have died to Dick chaney and Halliburton could get rich!

They were all hungry for War. Dems and Reps alike. The thing is....now the Dems can say its all Bushs fault to try to get to office. The whole thing is just disgusting. Bush and Cheney are money-hungry oil misers and the Dems are waffling p*ssies. Screw em all...the lot of them.

its always them.

and you are full of it.

it was all of washington, especially those with personal interests and investments in (what's in the middle east?) patroleum supplies and transport! not to mention those pusses who didnt stand up for what they really believed in.

and war makes big money too, so i mean that probably has nothing to do with bush and his panel of advisors all having stock options in major weapons development companies and manufacturers that would all skyrocket with the onset of a war.

and nothing to do with the fact that his dad went to war in the same place like 15 years ago and failed. and they gave guns to the taliban and iran to help us then. and now we have trouble with those people we wanted to help us out for Iraq part 1.

and nothing to do with the bush family ties to saudi royalty and oil fortune.

and blah blha blah blah blha blah. i dont think there really was a vote, either. we were dragged into this perdicament by the patriot act personal interest and executive decision.

If they didn't the Country would have rightly labeled them as being Anti-American and Pro-Anyone against us.

Democrats are all about going with the flow. Wherever it takes them. It is spoken of as being part of the Dialectic.

Duplicitous.

oh puhlease...its masking the power grab from the razor thin mandate of 06. it was never about iraq for the pelosi reid regime, it was about the thirst for liberal power and villifying bush kept the attention from the install of failed tax and spend policies.
