I think that the Rush noble prize was completely stupid.
Gee his biggest fans send in a monination and someone thinks thats an accomplishment

Kind of hard to decide right now regarding dumb things, the party I use to support has totally let America down so far. Right now, my eyes and ears are open to see and hear everything before next election. Right now, my list is very small, seems all parties have made negative comments in one way or another.

Dumbest thing from the left
"Bush refused the sign the "Kyoto Treaty" (it was signed 27 months before he to office)
or
"Bush banned stem cell research"
Dumbest thing from the right
"Senate rejected the Kyoto Treaty" (The referred to vote took place in the summer of 1997 six months before the meeting in Kyoto, Japan)

The Marriage Penalty - If you pay more filing jointly, why not file separately?
The Death Tax - The guy who died isn't complaining but his heirs sure are. We allow people to defer taxes with the idea being they get paid eventually not deferred by the next generation. That way a farmer would never pay income tax.
Some of these issues make more sense than others but the nomenclature get ridiculous.

I do not identify with any party. However I think that blind loyalty to any elected official or idea, regardless of party, is pretty dumb. . .and there seems to be quite a lot of that here on Answers.
