Given that you had to vote for one of the other, would you sooner vote for a candidate who was gay (not closeted), or an openly atheist president?

nobody owns up to it..and that brings up the question of ballot rigging... I am not comfortable with the technology behind elections. I think we are going to see a 3rd world nation type of uproar after november 7...Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely...If anybody living today believes that politicians, republicans or democrats.are interested in "government of the people, by the people, and for the people, well, I got some waterfront property i'll sell you in Death Valley..

I mean with all the recent scandals, the cover-ups and political spin to downplay the treacherous ways of the politicians is disheartening. It makes you not trust your own vote, because they all seem like they jusy want to get in the position for th perks!

OK I am 18 I finally have the chance to vote and I am clueless on how to go about this.

I am currently going to college in Ohio and hearing all the voting issues for this state and always getting handed things to regester but I am from New York State.

I believe that I cannot vote the Ohio ballot but I am not sure if I vote for Ohio or New York.

Each one asks for your address in that state. Now I am currently living at my dorm with the ohio address but if i regester for new york I guess I use my old home address.

and if I regester from my home in NYC how can I vote from Ohio cause i have no way of going home 2 vote...

So What state do I get to vote for

What address do I use

where can i go 2 do this

(I really want to vote it's like I'm almost 19 and I want to try out my new rights)

How much influence do you think Bill Clinton would have over Hillary's role as President of the United States?

Many say Hillary was really running the Country anyway, so maybe he would have very little.

Anyway, what are your thoughts? Should a wife of a former President be allowed to run since this in a way would be a THIRD TERM in office for "them" ?

So without going into all the details of why I am a conservative Christ-ian who mostly votes Republican, but has never been a straight ticket Repub... (So don't stone me)!

Please explain to me what having a Democratic President in office is going to do for us as far as foreign policy is concerned.

How will a democratic president wrap up this "war on terror"?

I want specifics as far as Iraq and all the people we have managed to pissoff for the last few years. Do you think as soon as a Dem takes the whitehouse, we will get walked all over?

I know the Presidential election is still a ways off, but what I choose on Tuesday's election needs to pave the way for my eternal thinking for my Country. My current impression is one of "dismay". So tell me why I might need to start thinking outside the Republican box and what good that would do for me (us).
