Well, Pelosi promised a tax hike, so we might as well get ready. And one can hardly assume the Dems will reduce the budget - they never had. (and let's not confuse Clinton signing the Republican Congress' budget bills a Democrat action, OK?)

Didn't she also promise a tax hike on the Big Oil bogeyman?

Is there anybody out there who thinks a Democrat Congress will spend any less?
Is there anybody out there who thinks tax hikes help the economy?
If there is, I can offer you the full patent rights to a perpetual motion machine for a bargain!

Average tax cut for middle class was $20, you make to much money to waste your time here if you saved $5000 on the Bush tax cuts. In answer to your question, The democrats cannot raise your taxes without a signature from the appointed one.

As soon as Bush went into office he cut the Marriage tax and saved me hundreds of dollars a year....

People are so thick...I explained the marriage tax to my friends and coworkers and they could not see past their hatred for Bush. My gay coworker says that he will never marry his partner because "Married people pay more taxes."

I dont understand why Clinton in 8 years ignored the marriage tax.

Marriage tax means Married couples pay more tax than live-in couples.

I am an average income American expecting my first baby.
I want my big tax refund

Bush has not vetoed a single spending bill since entering office. While he "cut taxes", his wreckless spending has led to record deficits. Who is going to pay the check?

Anyone in the future taking hundreds of dollars in taxes from you will be simply paying off the debt accumulated by the Bush-Cheney deficit spending program.

I am a fiscal conservative and moderate Republican. Its time for the GOP to go. They have stopped representing conservative fiscal interests. And they will be gone, unless uninformed drum-beaters like you cloud the issues with dogmatic hyperbole.

the tax hike is coming regardless of who wins this mid term election right now our government is running up a huge deficit what does it mean eventually this debt must be repaid and currently it will most likely take us and the next generation to pay off this deficit. Is this what you wish your children to inherit

I am retired and live on a limited income but I am afraid that the Dems will take more from me and because I am very thrifty and do without a lot they will penalize me thru taxing S.S., raising medicare rates or deductibles. It really is frightening to me.

Many are getting ready. Stock that bunker with food and ammo and hunker down. The storm of the century is on the way.

Your weekly allowance your parents give you is safe!

Dems have no desire to raise anyones taxes other than perhaps making the highest 1% pay their fair share.

So unless you make over $325,000.00 after adjusted deductions - you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

That is pure Bull$hit by Bush to put more fear into the already afraid Americans!

You may have heard wrong. The Republicans will win, so there will be no tax hike.
