It isn't just liberals who are concerned, or should be concerned about e-voting. We should all be concerned, and we should force the makers of e-voting hardware and software to be transparent.

Seriously. Not do you WANT them to regain control, but do you honestly think they will? I for one hope so My Democratic Senate candidate is really great - I hope he wins.

I used to vote for the lesser of two evils when candidates ran. But, why should I vote for any evil at all.

Are there any other people out there that are not "party" brainwashed - That see the fact that BOTH democrats and republicans are only at this game for the fame, power and money?

If women can have specific concerns, then so can men. Same thing with blacks and hispanics.

Right?

How many of you think it's the governments's job to make sure everyone has plenty of money, free healthcare, free everything? For those of you who believe this, why is the responsibility of paying for it put on the backs of taxpayers to pay for the ones who are sponging off the system? For those of you who believe that, why not make the spongers get a job or cut the free money out? Where is it written in the constitution that we the taxpayers have to care for spongers and lazy people? Now, having asked those questions, here's one more, do the Democrats use this system to buy votes from the poor and disenfranchised and isn't that a form of slavery?

with partisan support, set aside, do you think the November 7 elections will be possitive, and free form glitches or even, a possible electronic voting hijack? The Republicans promise they'll prevail, which scares me. either enthusastic remarks, or a deep undergroudn plot (review 2000 election) Democrats also have the confidence to prevail. one wont. Exit polls and forcasts were wrong in 2004, so we have no relevance to the election 2006 except what the voting computer says. do you trust a computer to give us legit election results?

Doesn't he realize what the rest of us do? That's he's now an also-ran, and the Democratic party would NEVER fund another presidential bid for him? He'd never make it out of the primaries.

He's worse than Dukakis ever was.

Its as if everybody knows this but Kerry.

I just moved on September 1 to San Francisco, California from Vancouver, Canada. My parents are U.S. citizens, so I have a US passport and Social Security number, although I have never lived in the US before.

On a California elections website http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_vr.htm, it says that you must be a "resident of California", to be eligible to vote. In this context, what does it mean exactly to be a resident of California? My understanding is that you have to live in California for over a year to establish residency. Is this true? Can I not vote sooner?

I want your opinion on the matter. Personally I would like to see a woman as the next president, but I want to know what you think. So do you think a woman should be the next president, and if you do why?
