Just a hypothetical. Much talk about Obama running for President. If this happened, who would you hope would be his running mate?

Do you think with all the scandals that are rocking Congress lately that the Republicans might actually lose control of the House and Senate? Or do you think the elections will just show status-quo and we just keep plodding along?

They've banded together! They have stopped killing to get us out of their country, and are now killing to affect the November elections! They want us to vote against republicans, thats why they are killing so many Americans this month! They want us to feel TERROR! They obviously want MORE anti-terror candidates! Why else would they kill more people! (but wouldn't it make sense to kill less people and realease video statements that elude to wanting peace and talks if they wanted republicans demonized and removed from office?) NO MATTER NOW! WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO THINK RATIONALLY!! THE TIME IS CLOSING FAST!! VOTE NOW-VOTE NOW-VOTE NOW-VOTE REPUBLICAN BECAUSE TERRORISTS WANT AMERICAN WOMEN AND SITCOM TELEVISION AND THE DEMOCRATS OBVIOUSLY WANT TO SURRENDER AMERICA AND BE ENSLAVED BECAUSE THEY LOVE DOING SLAVE LABOR AND BEING BEATEN VIOLENTLY, WHILE REPUBLICANS LOVE GOD AND BIBLES AND WANT US TO OVERCOME THE EVIL TERRORIST DEMOCRATS!! (now doesn't this sound rediculous?)

See the link below to a campaign poster during the Civil War. The Democrats desire the North to surrender and "compromise" with the South. In addition they label the war "useless." Your thoughts?

I mean, whoever is in office will look horrible when we pull out and leave the country to be overrun by extremists who are even MORE pissed off at us now than ever. So those Reps saying that Dems will "cut and run" are obviously ingorant themselves. Politics is politics is politics. We will be in Iraq for the rest of time, forever involved in that regions warring peoples. If you don't think these high-powered politicians aren't looking out for how good they look to the people, then you are as gullible as they come. And to think ANY politician would stand in front of America and NOT lie about even the most important and personal aspects of ANY situation is absolutely naive. Vote for whoever you want to, but we are not leaving that country. There is too much politically at stake.

Webb wears combat boots to show off that he was in Vietnam, (kind of like hypocrite John Kerry wearing medals on his fatigues) and then Webb won't state his position on these two critical issues. What else is he hiding?

Their voter turn out is 95%. Personally, I think it is a great idea. Americans are too apathetic --perhaps we should consider the same. What do you see as the pros and cons to required voting?

I watched Oprah w/ O'Reilly and he was all hot and bothered about the "liberal media" mainly newpapers like the N.Y. Times endorsing democratic canidates. But I don't see how it matters because endorsments don't influence my vote. I go with who I think is best for the job.

I watch Hardball every weeknight, and Chris was the first person I heard suggest that it was playing to the fears of white males about black men taking white women. I didn't see that. I just thought it was a dumb ad that had no substance. Furthermore, the Playboy party was attended by thousands of people. Both Dem's and Republican's attended the party.

Also, how many trillions of dollars of deficit has he spent?.. I just tried to look it up and I could only guess at 3 trillion, but I think it's a lot higher... I'm posting this in elections, because everyone knows the republicans vote in lock step with each other, and if you vote for a republican senator or congressman, your voting for a bush.
