Don't have to imagine, it is the nightmare we live under in the U.S. now. When we lose our fair, open and honest elections, we are giving up our democracy and allowing a small minority to elect our leaders. If the leader himself was involved then he should have no right to the office. Investigations are needed but with the perpetrators themselves involved it is unlikely this will happen. I am afraid they will go right on cheating and stay in power. We may have to do what Mexico did and hit the streets if it continues.

Why imagine when you can pick up a history book? Throughout America's history political parties have jockied for control over the nation. There is no doubt that the election of 1876 was 'stolen.' The Repuiblicans seized power in 1860 and despite losing The Presidency in 1884 and 1892, never relinguished it until 1912. There are many valid arguments against accepting JFK's victory over Dick Nixon as being valid.
Even the most wicked imagination cannot conjure up the dirty tricks political parties play to stay in power.
Peace...

Can you imagine using an e-voting machine that leaves no paper trail to check the authenticity of the vote? The people who make the machines hire the companies that check the results, and they are kept secret. Can you just imagine? I say do away with the electoral college, bring back paper ballots, and let the person with the most votes win the elections. Then I would start to think my vote actually counts.

sure it will its how they stay in power, and depending on the local it happens on both sides of the fence, for example Flordia was obvious a republican rigged election, but look to Chicago, where the democratic machine rules with and iron fist. Those who rig elections should be tried for treason in my view, as the circumvented demoracy

Yup, that's how JFK won (my great-uncle, who was killed in WWII, somehow managed to vote for Kennedy. Still don't know how that happened.), and Gregoire (Rossi won the WA State governor election, not Gregoire)...and that's probably why no one I know over here has received their absentee ballots. And yes, I am registered for absentee ballots, and yes, they have my mailing address.
None of the guys down range got theirs either. What's up with THAT?!
