Straight Democratic if you want to turn this country around and get it headed in the right direction. If you live in Texas, you'll want to vote Independent so you can vote for Kinky Friedman for Governor.

First, ask yourself what issues are important to you. write them down...Ask yourself why are they important. and ask yourself how would you solve the challenges that our people are faced with today. Ask yourself seriously, what kind of usa do you want, and then vote for the people who will sooner or later bring that about.
one thing, for every action there's a reaction. For example, i can have a car, and make the engine stronger. With a stronger engine, i can accelerate quickly and reach higher top speeds...however, i sacrifice fuel efficiency, and my brakes will wear out quicker cuz i'm stopping from higher speeds.
How is that an example? Well consider i vote republican, big buisness gets strong, unions become weaker, the hard industrious worker is now more easily exploited..we made big buisness stronger but we sacrifice the worker...on the other hand elect democrats, and they'll destroy big buisness eventually, but the worker willl have all the benefits, like in France, but france's economy is in shambles, and look at Ford, the unions have destroyed Ford, and their last car ever was built this week....
What i'm saying is that there are pros and cons for every choice made. You're going to have to figure out what you are willing to live with. And that will be determined by your world view.

There are two ways in which you may vote in the upcoming election... my way.. which is Republican, or your (the other) way... Well you could vote Democrat/Independent etc... in the upcoming election, but I don't know why you would want to vote the wrong way, since Republican is definately the RIGHT way.

That my friend is a decision only you can make. If you do not feel you are well enough versed on the candidates or the measures on the ballot. Perhaps you should pass on voting this time.
Voting is a matter that you should be well informed on and be honored to take part in.
Good luck.

Look at the facts:

Republicans have had control since after 9-11 (and a little before that).

Since 9-11-2001, we have not had a terrorist attack on US soil. And this was under a Republican President and Congress.

During a democrat leadership, we have had 9-11 being planned, many Embassy bombings, and the USS Cole bombing. You can also go back to the Iranian Hostage Crisis. This shows that the democrats are not too good at keeping America safe, and is't been that way for a while.

Take Willie Nelson's advice.

"So when will the troops come home? When we won't put up with it anymore-when we change our government. And how will we do that? By voting the bastards out! On November 7, you should vote for anyone who's against the war and vote against anyone who's for the war. It's that simple." - Willie Nelson, 2006

It really depends on what your values are. I suggest looking at the American Conservative Union website to learn about who currently in office is conservative. (acu.org) If you stand for pro life issues, strong national defense, low taxes, smaller government, then conservatives are for you. Be careful about RINO's (Republicans in name only) they lurk in the shadows. If you see someone that has a 85-100 score, they are conservative. If you see a Republican with a 60 score, they are a RINO. You have to decide from there how much will you tolerate.

I live in CT and have a RINO as a congressman. She is far better than the socialist running against her. For me, a part time Republican is better than a socialist.

Register Independent. Research the candidates. Vote your conscience. Encourage ALL your friends and family to do the same.

Turn off the TV, stop watching the news, and figure out what you believe for yourself, then look at the canidates (NOT their party) and vote for the one that fits you best.
